  1. Wow... that is crazy! But they still did the dinner? We loved ours on the Grand in September.
  2. I get what you are saying. We most likely will not cruise with Celebrity again. A CC member thinks I am nuts, but that is her choice. I get it.
  3. Covid is a real stinker and you do not know when it will hit you. Incubation can be up to 15 days. Sadly, this is why we cancelled our Transpacific. It is very stressful to test after flying 15 hours to a foreign country and then testing in the appropriate time frame before boarding. We had planned to arrive 3 days before boarding so the time frame was crazy.
  4. Actually, you CAN use OBC to book shore excursions. It is just one of those crazy exceptions.
  5. Thanks all! And @jeromep has an excellent point!
  6. Consider booking two cabins? One with a balcony and one inside. You can all hang out on the balcony together, provided you get a cabin with a decent balcony. DH and I did this with our two adult daughters one time and it worked out well.
  7. Does a "Vista Suite" get full suite priveleges?
  8. We were on the Emerald last May. We really did enjoy our meals at the Crown Grill. One server was rather aloof and the next was very warm. Regardless, the food was excellent!
  9. We cruised the British Isles in May 2022. We had always wanted to go there and we loved the itinerary. We were on the Emerald Princess. We most like!y will not cruise on THAT ship again, but we loved the itinerary! I think the Regal Princess is doing it now and we loved the Regal !
  10. Absolutely! That is why we cancelled our Transpacific for this Spring! Australia and New Zealand are moving targets and too stressful. There is no way to test at home before boarding a plane- it takes a very long time to get there. Maybe another time...
  11. Yes. And then you should receive a credit for it. It is a really silly way that Princess does this.
  12. It was fine that we did not get the "borrow" the Chef's coats. It was a great experience. We would most likely do it again, given the opportunity. Maybe on the Sky in June!
  13. Covid. When we were on the Grand in September, there were many cabins that had trays of dishes out in front of the door for many days. We think they were doing a self quarantine. There were also official looking envelopes posted on their doors. Cabin stewards may have mentioned this to the powers that be.
  14. Yes, when I wrote this it was the $40.00 per day. At least with the increase, items have been added. At least they raised the drink price limit.
  15. Sadly, September 2022 on the Grand had no galley tour for our Chef's Table. We also did not get any Chef's coats.
  16. Whatever... According to your brilliance, I am the only one who made the suggestion. So much for the purpose of all of CC.
  17. I believe you have 60 days to this? (from the time of booking).
  18. @ontheweb No need to get snarky about it. The OP appears to be a newbie and I thought that I would make the suggestion. Your comment was not contributory.
  19. I think that things are all a bit off since covid. The OF on the Emerald and Grand were not fully stocked when we cruises in !at and September. There are no guarantees.
  20. Dress very nice... Not casual but not formal.
  21. My first instinct was to ask, did you request "NO UPGRADE"???
  22. I wish we had that option on the Grand this last September. The Winemaker's Dinners are just not as prevalent.
  23. As @skynight stated, you will be able to talk with Club Class DR as well. I usually do not think about this because we have never had a Club Class booking. You will have a great time!
