  1. We had a lovely forward cabin in the Regal on the Lido deck. You may use the balcony at any time. However, you need to keep the drapes closed at night to prevent light interfering with the Bridge. Otherwise, enjoy your balcony, even at night as long as your lights are completely turned off.
  2. You had me at "paints"- LOL in the title of your post. Anyway, I love my leggings.
  3. Look at the aft balconies on the Dolphin deck.
  4. Aft Dolphin deck... The larger balcony and aft.
  5. My original post and point was in reference to the posts about the value of the Plus package. The point being that $29.00 was just adding up to $29.00. Tobias nothing to do with what you stated.
  6. Except for me, a decent glass of wine is $15.00 plus the 18% gratuity which equals $17.70 and of course I would have two glasses of wine for a total of $35.40 which is more than the $29.00 per day.
  7. We book with EZAir. Please understand that many people book to fly in a few days ahead and do some sightseeing. Then they book their own transfer to the ship on sailing day. We flew into Heathrow 3 days ahead and booked Blackberry cabs to our London hotel. On boarding day, we took a very cheap cab from the hotel to Victoria Station where we did use the Princess transfer on boarding day. Princess transfers are the day of; like from the airport to the dock or a pre=arranged place like in London from Victoria Station.
  8. Bring a good pair of binoculars. We always do... you never know what you will see. Maybe a pod of whales?
  9. So, you must be in a suite. I do not think the alcohol provided is enough for an entire cruise.
  10. Yes. OBC can be used to book shore excursions through Princess. This is the only thing you can use OBC for before actually being onboard. We did this last September. Unfortunately, it can not be used to make specialty dining room reservations before boarding.
  11. But who knows what Princess has in store... it is crazy!
  12. You can get anything you want with the Plus Package; coffee drinks, water, soda, etc. It will have you covered... even a Virgin Pina Colada may be enjoyable for you.
  13. The Plus Package is $60.00 per day, not $76.69. The Premier is $80.00 per day. You might have status on Princess to be getting internet for $5.00 per day? Depending on the length of you cruise, you may want more water than that. Bottom line, do what you think is best for you.
  14. No problem. I hope all is well after the hurricane.
  15. Canada has dropped everything. You do not even have to complete the ArriveCan anymore.
  16. I am so sorry that I was not clear. Your original question was if the 3 days could be also be seen as 72 hours. Here is your quote: "The language for getting a covid test 3 days prior to your cruise could also been seen as 72 hours, correct? There are several different opinions of this andf I say it's 72 hours prior. What say you?" Therefore, my answer was that no, that is incorrect. The 3 days and 72 hours are very different in the covid testing world. And jeeez... of course technically 3 full days are 72 hours. In the last year, cruises were quite clear about testing and selected to use the number of days versus the number of hours. Now I will answer your question about when the 3 days begin. It was quite the topic of conversation last year. I only know that because we were on two cruises last year. If your ship departs on a Sunday, you can test beginning on Thursday. You can test beginning at 12:01 am on Thursday which will technically be MORE than 72 hours by the time you are actually boarding your ship on Sunday. And this is why the number of days has more comfort space in it. So, if you board on the 17th, you may test as early as 12:01 am on the 14th. I hope this helps.
  17. I understand. However, the TP we cancelled has zero ports having covid restrictions. And it was not labeled "Enhanced".
  18. This was a great question. We almost booked an angled balcony but made a different decision.
  19. We were on the Grand in September 2022. There were no night lights. We used our cell phones to light the way. Many cell phones also have a flashlight app.
  20. We book the same as you. Our OBC was perfectly fine to use to book shore excursions BEFORE boarding the ship. We did exactly that last September on the Grand. This is one exception to using OBC before boarding.
