  1. @NMTraveller, Yes! You get cash from the casino if/when you win. Then you can either pocket the cash, and leave the charge on your Sea-Pass-Backed-Credit-Card, or you can take the cash and go down one deck to Guest Services and pay off what you charged (or more, or less). @kwokpot, Thank you! @PTC DAWG, It’s all good!
  2. @BACON227, Thank you for your review. Our experience mirrors yours. Small filet in Luminae on Beyond? No dice. Sandwiched between 2 Ascent cruises, where the kids’ filet WAS available every night…SMH.
  3. @PTC DAWG, I understand! I HAVE set myself a limit, but do get the $$ daily on my Sea Pass for slots or tables. Why not get the credit card points on my Sea Pass account for $ I was going to spend anyway? As long as I have my limit, and pay off the credit card immediately thereafter, I, personally, don’t have a problem. YMMV.
  4. So this is currently on the Celebrity FAQs:
  5. I need @kwokpot to back me up on this, but thus far I think all the answers so far pertain to a ‘cash advance on your credit card.’ HOWEVER, I do know you can spend up to $3000K per day on your Sea Pass card from the casino if you have a credit card on file for the cruise.
  6. Hi George, You will be in an RS, so the fee will be waived for you. Alternatively, you can use your card to put cash on slot machines, cash that out and get chips with the cash. I will help you with all the casino hacks! Dawn
  7. In January on Ascent and February on Beyond, it was $2.40 per glass above the Premium package…$2 plus 20% gratuity.
  8. @hmcrn, as long as there are sea days, they would play the game twice in a 10-night cruise!
  9. Hi, Written on my Heart!! Enjoy your Royal, but we will see you on the Beyond in July!! 😘
  10. Interesting! I am also on the Ascent now, in Aqua, so we have Blu, and our waiter said that we are perfectly fine ordering off the MDR menus if we so desire!
  11. I’m just curious why it matters.
  12. I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope this vacay provides you with a much-needed re-set. Yay! I get to sail with Charla again! I will be very tired this coming week, as I will physically be on the Ascent and virtually with you on the Reflection!
  13. I agree with @Charles4515. We were just there 2 weeks ago. Ship excursion should be fine. Early 2023, we took a taxi on our own to the Old City. Would not recommend that at the present time.
  14. Oops! So sorry. I read your post entirely wrong!!
  15. Celebrity Suite has a butler. Both Sky Suites and Celebrity Suites are larger than standard Veranda cabins.
  16. We paid for our 14 y.o. twin grandkids to go. They said the lines were very long. They only went on or two slides when yet another ship pulled in and the lines were only going to get longer. Since you can’t control the crowds, my DH and I are not planning to go.
  17. Eclipse is an S-Class ship. Millennium is an M-Class ship, which is an older class. Much smaller and not as many venues.
  18. @Ex-Airbalancer, Super Bowl…in the USA this is the final, Final football 🏈 championship game of the whole year. The good news (for all) is the ship will have a party atmosphere and usually serves little nibbles (I can’t spell hors de ourves!!!) at different venues on the ship.
  19. When I was in an Aqua Sky Suite on the Ascent in December, my balcony looked just like the one pictured in this thread. I asked our Retreat Host if we could please get 1 lounger. He asked, and told me he was told ‘no’ by his supervisor. He told me only the Sunset Sky Suites and Sunset Verandas had room for loungers. So…you’re in luck!
  20. Just the Lounge. (Not on the Sundeck and not in Luminae.)
  21. @hcat, it won’t last more than 5 minutes! But yes, you will want a table close to the windows so you won’t hear all the other conversations and dance music from the Martini Bar.
  22. @kwokpotThanks, Kwok! I want to cruise with you; I like the way you think! We were on the Ascent last month, and the Martini Bar does indeed have a flair show (with chandelier, but no acrobats!) every night. It was weird times…something like 6:15 p.m. and 10, if I recall correctly.
  23. Mast Grill definitely has soft-serve ice cream on E-class, and from memory, in other locations near the pool on M- and S- class ships! 🍦
  24. @miched I concur with @CTSandy! These treasures need a home! My local fabric store gratefully takes in these items to donate to the Veterans’ hospital and/or to homeless shelters. Our animal shelter would love to have them if you can’t find a human home! Wondering how much it would cost me if you can send them to me to find them homes!
  25. Bought our 14 y.o. twin grandkids tix to Thrill Waterpark. They are both thrill seekers. They stayed 1 hour and then came to find us on the ‘free’ beach. They were able to go on 2 slides and the lines were extraordinarily long. They bailed when yet Another ship had docked and the lines got even longer. It’s not nearly as good as a day at an amusement park, and far too expensive, IMHO.
