  1. They will credit it back, but they will also deduct 1000 points from your card. (Double points) So you may have a negative balance for a while.
  2. Mask mandate reinstated for our county, Friday at midnight. No end date provided. And apparently no one is going to take responsibility for removing the Formica. Home Depot admits it was their contractor's mistake. But they aren't going to do anything to correct it. We will have to find our own contractor to remove it. Or they will refund the tile materials and labor costs. It could be worse, but things aren't going very well.
  3. It does sound like a bit much. If there is something you want from the MDR, why not just go there or order it to your suite?
  4. Ice skating and Flow Rider are included and free. Hours will be posted onboard in the Compass or app onboard. Drink and dining package prices will be posted in your Cruise Planner when you sign into your Royal Caribbean account.
  5. And the pool TV screen is garbage green with orange squares all over. They really need to tarp it like they did on Liberty, unless they are going to repair or replace it.
  6. No one pays attention to things I write.
  7. Nothing. They don't check for one. CLIA is a voluntary organization that is probably an error that has been communicated through various iterations of the requirements. Please try not to worry about it if you have valid testing results.
  8. We have one of those. It is an attachment for our pressure washer. They do work well. And we have had a setback to our kitchen remodel. We originally had a Formica countertop and a thin sheet of Formica as a backsplash. Since this began back in January, we have asked repeatedly about the Formica backsplash and the tile replacement. Even the tile measurement guy was sort of wishy washy about whether it would be a problem or not. We have asked repeatedly. Now that the countertops, new sink and cabinets are in, the tile backsplash people are indicating that the Formica is a problem and will need to be removed. And if the sheet rock is damaged in the removal, it will need to be replaced. No one seems to be quite sure who is going to do this removal without damaging the new cabinets and countertops. Please stay tuned. We will have to see how it goes. I had hoped to post photos of the new kitchen next week.
  9. This is what I meant about gas prices: NorCal Residents Reel From Highest Gas Prices In The Country Drivers in the Bay Area pay well over $6 per gallon for gas. In rural counties, the price hovers around $7.
  10. C&A Diamond +. But it is limited to socks, underwear, T-shirts, shorts, PJ's...not really laundry, laundry.
  11. Not really. It cuts down on airfare (to Florida) for us. You get laundry bags for both weeks. We have the same cabin (which is a cruddy one on this particular B2B) But it will be fun, and nice to get away for a couple of weeks. We seem to kind of have low expectations anymore.
  12. Oh! You went to the Ember Stomp Fire Prevention Festival. I just saw photos of the goats on the news. It did look small, but Marin County is very proactive about wildfire prevention. I hope it's not Covid, but either way, I hope you feel better soon and enjoy your Bay Area visit. The weather is supposed to warm up on Tuesday. And our gas prices are, indeed, horrible.
  13. It was sad. It wasn't horrible or anything. But we were kind of disappointed in the experience. He seemed to be an enthusiastic young man, just not a very good waiter. And it wasn't until later that I remembered that we had wanted to try the Campfire Cookie. It's okay. We will have another opportunity. Thanks again, for your awesome restaurant reservations. We will have to be a little quicker to make them next time, too.
  14. There is still a lot of snow and ice in the water. It does look like a nice day though. Enjoy your cruise. And please post more photos. Alaska photos are awesome!
  15. What was the temperature like? It was cold when we were onboard at the end of April. And now there is a Pacific hurricane forming. Agatha. But there are no more 7 day cruises until the end of September.
  16. You receive a $20 p/p dining credit. We had a really bad waiter on Navigator. He didn't listen or pay attention. DH never received the Jalapeno Poppers he ordered. And then he brought our check, shortly after we had started eating, so there was no offer of dessert or additional beverages. We did complain to the manager and on the survey. By then we just wanted to leave. We had the dining package and the beverage package, so the offer to fix it kind of fell flat. We will give it another try in September.
  17. Ask your room steward for a paper copy of the compass when you first meet him. We received it every evening on Navigator with the exception of the first day. This was end of April.
