  1. If it’s bonus FCC for early covid canceled cruises they will not extend it. The expiry date for any credits (FCC and/or FCD) is always shown in your account on Princess.com under future cruise credits.
  2. @Fa-Li Do not click “explore dining options”, that is only available once on the ship to see menus and such. Choose “view or book individual daily reservations”, then pick a day and choose “add reservation”. This will then bring up two choices “mdr” and “specialty dining”.
  3. This survey should have had a question on what we would have chosen prior to the change in the packages. How are you going to know how many are choosing differently? As it stands it really isn’t going to tell you anything.
  4. That’s not always true if you have a specialty dining credit. I think that’s what he was saying. We had a free suite dining credit for first night speciality restaurant which we pre booked months before the cruise and there was no charge. It zeroes out at the payment page. I know people are saying this doesn’t work for them but it obviously works for some.
  5. Not all ships. Island and Coral there is aft access to deck 5 & 6.
  6. We use these magnetic hooks to run the extension cord along the walls (or ceiling) if needed. No need for tape and it keeps it off the floor and out of the stewards way. https://www.amazon.com/1InTheOffice-Super-Magnetic-Hooks-Silver/dp/B073RQMXKD/ref=asc_df_B073RQMXKD/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198108511374&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3811335550143637196&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031996&hvtargid=pla-348844056419&psc=1
  7. Sorry, can’t answer that specifically. I know my friend streamed his spotify app on the ruby in October with no problems so I would think that you could stream apple music as well.
  8. You need an internet connection not just wifi. How well it works will be determined by how well the ships internet is working. You can download music (at home) that can be listened to offline.
  9. How do you take pictures? Mine is my camera and I am always ready with it at hand for whale sightings in Alaska, a funny moment at a venue, sailaways etc. Too many times I’ve missed these moments when I left it in the room. It is also my timepiece for getting to events or for meal times. Phones are for more than just communication.
  10. I use a crossbody cell phone case. Using this I don’t need to take it out of a bag in order to use it. I clip my medallion to the strap. There are many brands not just this one. https://www.bandolierstyle.com/products/emma-pebble-leather-crossbody-bandolier-black-pewter?pr_prod_strat=use_description&pr_rec_id=6d987390b&pr_rec_pid=945098817572&pr_ref_pid=947006406692&pr_seq=uniform
  11. Yes, but you will only see it onboard. It won’t be at the bottom.
  12. I don’t think the robe info is in the app. I found it in the personalizer on the website under the checkin tab for your cruise. I can’t answer the question about journey view.
  13. We disembarked the Ruby on 11/7 which I assume is when you boarded. Our CC waiter that morning said 100 crew members did not report in San Francisco.
  14. This was our 3rd time also (Apr, Aug & Oct). It’s being empty was probably why they changed it to dinner only. There were quite a few people in there the night we went. We were a party of four.
  15. Enjoyed the UBD on the Ruby a couple of weeks ago. They did not do any follow up on the pictures however they were available to view on the kiosks in the photo department using your medallion and facial recognition. We didn’t get one as we did not like how they turned out so we can’t give any guidance as to what they would provide (print or digital).
  16. It was only open for dinner on the Ruby. Opened at 6pm
  17. Who knows? Maybe I shouldn’t have been so emphatic about it. 😆 I can only say it worked for me. Maybe the ships inTRanet had enough of a data stream to allow it? Imsg does not use sms/mms messaging, but now I’m getting way beyond my expertise.
  18. I was on the Ruby for the cruise that ended on Monday 11/7. I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was delicious! Way more lobster in it than I had expected! Not a big enough bowl to share though.😉😆. I also had the grilled cheese and soup. The soup was also in a small bowl and the sandwich was more the size of a half sammie. DH had the hamburger which was large. It’s definitely not a huge meal like some SD venues in case they don’t let you share and you still want to try it. I would definitely eat there again.
  19. If you all have iPhones you can iMsg with no problems. Just be connected to the ships wifi ( medallion net). Paid internet has nothing to do with it, iMsg uses wifi only which is free. Just disembarked the Ruby last weekend with friends on board. Texted with them and with family at home without issue.
  20. Pier 2B https://hawaii.portcall.com/#!?tab=2&date=2022-11-14&port=Honolulu - Oahu
  21. It’s Sabatini’s, deck 16. We were in a suite on the Ruby in August. Also, just off the Ruby Monday and it was still in that venue. Saw it when we went up to adagio (next door) to read in the morning.
  22. Ours was in our account on day 1 for our last two cruises, in August and the one we are currently on. You do not need to have completed the excursion.
