Just a quick request.... spine surgery (lumbar laminectomy & fusion) tomorrow....prayers would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

We were CO & in a Neptune last Feb/March on the K & didn't get any of the things you mentioned. We did like CO for dining-- easier to hear in a less noisy environment except for a couple of nights when a 4-some (who I think had had their own happy hours before coming) were a little loud & obnoxious.

Close -- Surgery is at Swedish Ortho Institute on 1st Hill in Seattle & the Silver Cloud hotel is a couple of blocks away. Stayed there when hubby had surgery----it's an ok hotel but a little pricy for the area & parking in their garage is $40/day.....crazy!! & the on-site restaurant leaves a lot to be desired as well.

Just got a call from the surgeon's office....instead of a 9:30 check-in on Monday, now it's 5:40 ---- UGH!!! I'm not a morning person & throw in the fact that I need to do a 2nd Hibiclens shower in the morning----do I even need to go to bed & try & get some sleep? The good news is it'll be over sooner.

A very moving experience...

When we had all that rain last week I told hubby we needed our gutters cleaned --- our lawn guys came out Friday & did it ---- I'm SO glad!

I played Squeaky Wheel today, too.....surgery is scheduled for next Monday but so far no info as to the blood draw, type & screen & EKG the surgeon wanted done pre-op. At least 5 voice mails left to the various #s that have called me over the last week....finally got a 3 call backs -- 2 of which actually gave me some info & 1 of those is calling me back after she talks to the dr. I was getting a little nervous since it's getting close.

That sucks --- good thoughts & prayers are on their way.

You might try putting scotch tape on the not fixed eye's lens...that worked for my SIL till she got the 2nd eye done.

My MD was thinking I was prediabetic 'cause my fasting glucoses were creeping up ---put me on a 4 month trial of Metformin & my sugars went higher....we stopped that & I'm trying to lose some weight.

I finally got my surgery date - Dec. 11....either then or sometime in January....nope, the sooner the better. Vanessa - keep pushing for some resolution for your issues!

Maybe both --- that time of year we'd probably fly in 2 days early to make sure we're there when we need to be.

Go to the Special Needs area & fill out the form --- for the most part HAL did a great job with my dietary restrictions, including low salt.

Not with the website but with the phone --- trying to call our PCC & the greeting message keeps looping even after you've pressed 2.....finally sent him an email.

Yes, but it doesn't tell you if it's carpeted....that's my question. I know it's below the Lido Market/buffet... I'd like to hear from somebody who actually knows.

Hopefully somebody can help --- several years ago we were in Cabin 8118 on the Eurodam....that cabin was under an uncarpeted area of the Lido buffet so we heard chair scraping every night when cleaning was taking place. We have a hold on Zuidy Cabin 8099 & would like to hear from somebody who's been in that cabin....we know it's under the Lido & I copied & printed the deck plan for both decks 8 & 9 to compare but can't really tell. There are other cabins to pick from but we like the extra room in the bump cabins. TIA!
