  1. @smitty34877 Sorry to read about your DH passing. Glad he was at home to go home.
  2. We have Samsung Smart Tags....they work/worked well for us.
  3. On the K, the MDR is huge & has zero ambience....servers rushing around, no time for interaction with them. Only ate in there a couple of times on our 35 day cruise -- a couple of lunches & 1 brunch. CO is head & shoulders worth it....staff gets to know you & you them, for food sensitivity issues the CO chef can substitute or modify your choices. It can get loud depending on how many pre-dinner adult beverages have been consumed by your fellow diners but for the most part it's an enjoyable experience. We originally had booked a verandah cabin & added on CO but we were offered a paid upgrade to a Neptune --- were refunded the CO cost when we accepted the Neptune offer. YMMV.
  4. @Quartzsite Cruiser Why were there tortoises in a box for sale at the market?
  5. Can't answer about the MDR for Neptunes/CO...I would think their priority would still stand.
  6. I have to laugh....before CO, we had an assigned table in the MDR so we just walked past the line up at the podium --- a couple of evenings we heard people say "there they go again"....
  7. We usually stay at the Marriott Sea-Tac hotel & occasionally at the Southcenter Courtyard. Both have shuttles & restaurants either at the site or nearby.
  8. Tell me about the Rolling Underseat Luggage please....brand/price. TIA
  9. Me, too.. I do the Epley now that I know what to do...haven't had an attack for quite a while.
  10. Fill out the Ship Services form before you cruise stating dietary restrictions.....low salt, food allergies, etc. Only on 1 night, at the start of our cruise, was there an issue but from then on everything was fine. In the Lido, you need you use your judgement or request something be made to your specifications...it's not a problem.
  11. Hazy here in Bremerton & we can smell the smoke from some nearby fire....
  12. A couple of comments on being a lefty --- my mom learned to print with her right hand but when it came time to learn cursive, she broke her right wrist so she 'wrote' with her left hand. I am left handed but she taught me to do some things (knitting, using scissors) with my right. When I applied to the phone company to be a long distance operator, they weren't sure if I'd be able to key the numbers with my right hand---- of course of I could.
  13. I'm in Bremerton & the last time I received a jury summons there was an age related deferral which I selected & was excused. Maybe it's a county thing....I'm in Kitsap County.
  14. We had a cat who figured out how to turn on the clock radio by the bed when he wanted out during the night...
  15. I'd love to eat off the ship but I have a germ-a-phobe hubby so, unless we're on a tour with others, we end up eating on the ship.
  16. & the one I used 1st was my right arm thrown in front of my daughter.
  17. The ones I got at the Dollar Store wouldn't fit any of the outlets on the K. I think the candle-looking ones that sit on something probably are the best idea.
  18. Our dog was also a bell ringer....but it hung on the door knob.
  19. I cannot like your post! You can't seem to catch a break. Things have to get better!
  20. The DAV was the fire that was lit under the VA to get my hubby's disability approved. Now we're dealing with dentistry stuff --- had to get Washington DC involved to get approval for a root canal & implant or whatever for a crown that had come off -- he gets care locally but no endodontic people that take VA so he went to Tacoma yesterday for a root canal, now waiting for local approval for the next step.
