Well only 2 1/2 days of pain relief after my 2nd epidural shot not as much pain at before the shot but still.....got my EOB from Kaiser today --- the 1st 2 shots were billed/paid for at over $5000......sure didn't get my/Kaiser's money's worth!

Did it on the K -- decent food but felt it was too pretentious.

8 -- on our return from the Hawaii/Tahiti 35 day cruise on HAL.....35 days was too long as were 8 sea days!

I'd love to do the Fjords cruise but from Washington State to the departure ports in Europe the flights are more expensive that the cruise & then figure in hotels, etc....I don't think I'll ever get there.

Hoping I'm not jinxing myself but after my spinal injection yesterday, I'm having NO pain.....

Our 4 star medallions & pins were left on our bed at the end of our cruise this past March.

Got my 2nd epidural steroid injection earlier today...he only did 1 because I told him my right leg seemed to be better but my lower back & left leg still are troublesome....like an 8 when I first get out of bed. Hoping this one lasts longer than the day & a half that the 1st ones did. Still going to PT but I don't think it's doing or helping much. The doc's PA said he would be using a different steroid but when I asked him he said he'd used Dexamethasone again --- something about Medicare....

We had the same couch & chair --- from Penney's as I recall.

Do the teachers you're subbing for leave you a 'lesson plan'? I don't know how you can sub for so many different subjects.....

Did you mean MAZE surgery? Hubby just had it on Oct. 18....A-fib still comes (rarely) & goes & like you, he has trouble being patient (& a patient)..

& on my laptop as well.

DH & I could used some good juju.....he had to go back to the ER today for chest pain & shortness of breath....turns out he needs to take the narcotic they prescribed post-op & not just the Tylenol. I was supposed to get my 2nd set of steroid shots for my back but I checked in for my 2:15 appointment at 2, was still in the waiting room at 3 with no explanation as to why....I cancelled the appt & hope to reschedule it for later this week.....I'll keep taking the ES Tylenol.....GRRRR!!

Considering what a nightmare Ft. L airport is, somebody suggested flying to & from West Palm Beach --- is there any transportation offered by any company to Ft. L & back &, if so, any idea of cost? TIA.

We feel the same about FLL.....& last time we flew from there the Alaska desks didn't open for like 6 hours after we got there so we got to sit on 2 of the few seats in the lobby with our luggage....GRRRR!

@Quartzsite Cruiser What kind of camera do you use? Your pictures are all so crisp.

Hubby had to spend an extra night in the hospital, he's home now. Just have to play the waiting game for a few months to see if the external ablation really did the trick. Thanks to all of you for your prayers.

Thanks to all of you for prayers for hubby (Mike) -- yesterday's surgery went as planned....think he'll be coming home tomorrow. I'm scheduled for a 2nd round of steroid (only) injections for my back for next Monday - I guess they will be using a different steroid this time....really hoping for more than 1 1/2 days of relief -- glad that Extra Strength Tylenol every 5 or so hours does some good.

Our HAL PCC is terrific! We had cancelled a cruise due to the original Covid mess & our FCC was to expire on 12/31 -- don't remember the year. We booked a cruise for Feb//March of the next year & he was able to move our FCC's to that cruise. The HAL phone # for PCCs is 1-206-626-7350 --- just stay on the line for an available PCC & hope they can help you to your satisfaction.
