  1. Btw if you have food allergies, which I do, they will try to accommodate you. Stop by Chops at least a day in advance to discuss with them. They'll connect you with Chef's Table people.
  2. Correct. It was a bubbly and it was nice!
  3. There was champagne but don't recall if it was french.
  4. We're on Radiance and ate there last night. Love it. This cruise is 16 nts so definitely had time for a leisurely evening. Usually eat there once on longer cruises.
  5. We are on Radiance. Actually the cruise last week we had 9660, aft facing balcony. Our favorite location. Bigger cabin, bigger balcony which has a table, 2 regular chairs and 2 lounge chairs. Partly shaded. Had to move and miss the aft balcony. Just checked. On Jewel we also had 9660. On Brilliance 8672; daughter had 8172. No complaints.
  6. We're on Radiance. Captain Marek joined us yesterday, 10/7.
  7. Onboard Radiance. Not our first post covid cruise. As usual we ask cabin attendant for a paper compass and as usual we get one. No problem.
  8. Do you have confirmation from after the change with obc? If so, show it to them. Good luck.
  9. We're on Radiance Not complaining. Ok in the cabin but on balcony when I tried it once. On an aft facing balcony on deck 9.
  10. We're on Radiance Pacific Coast, 8 nts. Will stay on the 16 nt Panama Canal. Asked a chef last night. He says he has 15 menus. Only 1 will repeat. I assume certain items will repeat thoigh, like the Caesar salad.
  11. Were on a cruise within the past year and told no. Don't recall which ship. Sent dh to guest services and he came back without cash. Not critical. I think the fee for the ATM onboard is higher than I want to pay.
  12. I don't think you can set up account until you board. There is staff onboard that can help.
  13. We did the first one Royal did on a TA from Copenhagen to Boston in 2018. Great trip.
  14. Many years ago we spent a day or so after a cruise and went to a venue that raised dogs for that ran in the Iditarod.
  15. People on cruise critic have reported it taking as much as 12 weeks to get a new passport.
  16. Thanks. Wonder when they'll be changing Captains. He's been on for for awhile. We board on the 29th for 2 cruises.
  17. For those onboard who is captain and who is cruise director? We board 9/29 and stay on for the Canal transit and I think the captain should be changing. Thanks.
  18. I thought it was on my confirmation but on checking it's not there. I know I saw it somewhere. Try online, ship's itinerary.
  19. Bring your wine onboard in your carryon. 1 per person. If it's in your checked luggage the bag not be delivered to you and you'll have to go and claim it. I don’t know much about the Texas stamp except that our c&a wine wasn't delivered until the next day because of Texas law.
  20. Check to see which of your credit cards don't charge you a foreign transaction fee. Those arecthe ones we take.
  21. Where are the ships sailing from? Radiance is in Seward, not Vancouver, Seattle, or elsewhere. From a map that was posted it looks like you would sail directly into the storm. Of course I'm not a meteorologist or a sailor.
  22. Radiance isn't the only ship stuck because of bad weather. Norwegian Escape is anchored off of Staten Island. At least in Seward you can walk off and on. Btw the draining of water in the Solarium pool is because the floor around the pool is tile which would be quite slippery if water came out of the pool in rough weather.
