Lufthansa and KLM both have nonstops from SFO to AMS. Amsterdam to Rotterdam is a pretty easy land transfer. I'm taking KLM from AMS to SFO in July 2024 on my return from Norway. Oh jeez, I just Google Flights from SFO to RTM and all of the flights are 17+ hours!! 😮 Yeah, just go to Amsterdam nonstop!! Similar price even. ~Nancy

@sseibert3 No if you are talking about the entire world. Some do. Generally, even if they do, the exchange rate will not be favorable. Use your credit card or local currency is what I do. (but I admit having used USD when in Mexico and Nicaragua when a credit card wasn't accepted). Are you wondering about a specific port? It depends how many days your cruise is. Starlink is for all internet packages now. Either the "Surf" basic email or social media browsing or "Premium" which can have streaming.

Yes, it's been over a year since it's been available based on what I've read here. My cruises in the Fall of 2022 I couldn't get debarkation day room service breakfast. I was in a Signature Suite and a Veranda cabin. I even specifically asked about it. It may be available for Neptune and Pinnacle Suites, but I don't travel in them so not sure.

I looked at HAL online about an hour ago for this itinerary or the opposite direction. I "almost" booked it but can't go until January 2026! I need to be patient. In the meantime, I'll be reading what you have time to post. @NorbertsNiece Please enjoy yourself and don't feel pressure to produce something on a schedule for us! Yes, @bemap does love their AI (Artificial Intelligence) postings!! 🤔 Frankly, I feel that AI info is too generic to really be useful here on the HAL forum when people are searching for HAL specific information. It's appreciated that they are taking the time to google information for the forum but some info that has come from AI has actually been inaccurate. That's my take on the AI posts. Anyone else feel otherwise? ~Nancy

In my thinking, once room service and other added charges get to a certain level, it makes sense to me to just ante up for the all-inclusive luxury lines instead. I guess it's just a matter of determining what that per diem cut off price point is for me. Since I usually sail solo and pay double on HAL for my cabin that point is getting closer and closer. Please HAL keep the included room service! (Very sad that the debarkation breakfast room service is a thing of the past) ~Nancy

I loved reading your posts every day @LAFFNVEGAS! Nice to read about everyone's cruises when I am waiting to go back out to sea. It's another 146 days until I set foot on the Zuiderdam but you will be on the Windstar before then! Will you be posting a "Live From" from the Windsurf? I suggest you keep it simple and just take a taxi from right in front of the ship to right in front of SFO! No need to haul luggage to street cars, BART, etc. and figure out how to pay! Taxi + Credit Card = easy trip! 🙂 ~Nancy

That article is from 2019. As of 2023 there is no construction going on for a pier at Half Moon Cay. Has there been any current announcements about a pier? The pandemic may have changed the plans.
