  1. Your shuttle was to the Port of Miami? OP asked about POM.
  2. Some cruise lines supposedly allow passengers to board but not get off at Martinique. I was admonished on another occasion when I posted that they had to have one but I don’t know Celebrity,s policy.
  3. If this is a typical closed loop cruise she needs her official birth certificate not just a driver’s license and marriage license. I presume you meant that because there would be no reason for the marriage license unless different than the birth certificate. What is the itinerary though? If it is not a typical closed loop a passport would be required. If your sailing is stopping at Martinique a passport is required.
  4. I don’t get it about two thirds of the time. It is a tiny scoop.
  5. I think the person who does cruise line check who posts on CC mentioned there were less documentation problems these days because there were more cruisers with passports.
  6. There are two. However don’t get too happy as they are Europlug outlets. Not compatible with North American 220 volt plugs. 😜
  7. There are drum sets that have pads so they are quiet and I have seen people practice guitar with a headset so pretty quiet.
  8. No way that machine will be dual voltage. If you plug it into 220 without a converter bye bye motor and possibly other wiring. If I had a vintage machine like that no way I would risk traveling with it. Possibly worth $1000 to $1500 depending on condition.
  9. You can’t trust what they tell you one way or the other when you call. I would guess that if you get it onboard past security and set it up in a public area it would depend on subjective judgement from crew members if the noise is distracting and also if any passengers complain whether it would be allowed. If you tell them you called and were told it was okay that won’t matter.
  10. Yes but their unexpired passport is fine for flying back home from the Bahamas which is why bringing a birth certificate is not necessary except for OCD types. It is illogical to believe that if a birth certificate can be used that a valid passport would not be acceptable.
  11. My point is that not all devices are dual voltage. I did switch to Soniccare because it is dual voltage. They sell hairdryers that are dual voltage but since I don’t travel with a hairdryer I bought one that was never going to leave the house because I don’t need dual voltage. It is in the vanity drawer in case a house guest need to use a hair dryer. I have a bunch of appliances that are not dual voltage. No reason for the manufacturer to make them that way. Some devices are dual voltage but to say almost all are is an overstatement.
  12. Electronic products are but not electrical products. I just bought a hair dryer for the guest bedroom bathroom and it says 125 volts only. I have a toothbrush charger and it is only good for 120 volts.
  13. Maybe in your cabin but think they are going to let you run a sewing machine in any public areas. You would need more than a plug adapter to plug a sewing machine into a 220 outlet. You would need a voltage converter.
  14. I did not do any of those etype opportunities. They have not done iny social media opportunity's for a while. But here is n example. They all had an ened date so there are none currently. "Recently, awarding-winning Chef Michelle Bernstein hosted an intimate virtual cooking demo for some of our top tier members. Now, here’s your chance to learn how to make her Reverse Seared Steak in a red wine pan sauce with Leaves of Caesar salad. Download the recipe or watch the video to cook along with her. Then post a photo of your completed dish to social media by February 21st to earn 30 Power Up Points!"
  15. My list of notifications is not updating. (the one updated by the bell icon.)
  16. There is a way to stop them. Unfortunately it was a while ago and I don’t recall what I did.
  17. Nope. I don’t get the deals. I have them turned off.
  18. What about Belmont Golf course? It is at the Newstead Resort and they offer day passes. They don't have a beach though only a pool.
  19. In your imagination….. Your phone charger is going to send the same amount of power to your phone whichever voltage outlet it is plugged into. The charger you use can effect the time. If I use a 20 watt charger it will charge my phone it will charge faster if I use a 15 watt charger.
  20. There is a cell coverage at Labadee which I have used roaming on AT&T. So theoretically Airalo should work if they have coverage in Haiti. Does your phone use eSims? Is it unlocked? Airlalo needs uses esims. Airalo plans are data and text so for calls you would need to use FaceTime or WhatsApp.
  21. Sorry to inform you but you can be monitored using a flip phone. Flip phones may actually be less secure than smartphones as flip phones don't have security features or get security software updates. As far as texting we were doing it with flip phones.
  22. Yep, the totlal points have been updated and now match my points history.
  23. There is no WiFi at Labadee. Been to Aruba and Bonaire but never looked for free WiFi but there probably is some there. If you want a cell phones with international roaming you need AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon service. They do roam at all three of the ports you mentioned. I have AT&T and pay would pay 10 a day for service at those Caribbean ports. Canada, Mexico, and Latin America are included.
  24. I would do an Uber but the Bell Captain station at the Riverside should be able to arrange other options. It is a full service hotel. When you arrive ask them.
