  1. I just finished one and have two more offers booked for February. I've cleared my schedule , should any more come later in 2023. The free cabin is a win for me and the taxes, gratuities and other spending I do on board is a win fir Celebrity. I am sure they take that into account when extending these offers.
  2. In February Arriving Fll late afternoon/early evening and need transportation for two to Hampton Inn Miami Airport East pre cruise. What are my options. Flights are much cheaper to Fll than Mia on this date for me
  3. On the last email in November, i was able to get Edge for Feb 24. Now with this email I was able to get Silhouette ending Feb 23. So a B2B but on different ships. Was able to get my first choice on both. Before calling BCC I checked the website and jotted down available cabins I liked and the agent from BCC said they were available.
  4. Thanks for the heads up. I called celebrity and rather than play with my shore excursions that i had purchased and do credit card refunds, the cruise consultant calculated how much i overpaid and gave me a refundable OBC for that amount.

Select dining Anytime is the third option and you can go anytime you want without a reservation or you can choose a time between when dining room opens and closes Select dining Anytime will have a specific floor assigned in the main dining room

  10. When I received my first ever email I filled out the form and waited a week with no call back. I then went online an looked up the cruise i wanted and a few cabins that were shown on celebrity site as still available , then I called their BCC number and was booked immediately. I was later told that they look after all the phoneins first before looking at the forms. second time that I received an email offer, i did not fill out the form. I just called in with my selections and preferred cabin. I was booked immdeiately
  11. Currently we are on the Reflection. Prior to the departure date i received an email from Celebrity saying we could opt for one full service of the room and one check in the evening instead of two full services. If we went with the one + check we would get extra cruise points. We opted in. When i met our stateroom attendant i mentioned it to him and he acted confused and didnt know what i was talking about. I explained we would be happy with the bed made and room cleaned in the morning and just a check in the evening for towel replacement. Told him there was no need for bed turn down service. so far he has done a complete service of the room twice daily and left chocolates on the pillows and tonight placed fresh flowers in the room. i am content to let him continue servicing my room the way he sees best.

Well we are currently booked on a BCC verandah for 10 days on Edge, and if I had booked it on my own with any discount for elite, residency etc, the cost of the cabin including taxes would be $6642.00 Cdn. To me that is a nice freebie. Anything I will spend on top of the cabin, I would have paid anyway.

  15. We are in the same situation with St. Maarten, st. Thomas and nassau on our upcoming cruise. We have been to all those ports before and done excursions. This time we are cruising just to get back into enjoying the ship after the virus kept us away for so long . We will be doing our own thing near the port and then enjoying the peace and quiet on the ship while others are on excursions. We are just treating it as a get away.
  16. When you say you selected the three cruises , did you just fill in the form and submit it? If so that doesn’t work well. Instead phone the number in the email and speak to a representative. You may be on hold for a while, but it is well worth the wait.
  17. Is the dollar amount you bid for an upgrade confined to the sliding scale or is there somewhere you can type in an amount? Reason I ask is that I received an email for move up bid on a cruise later in 2023. Im in a veranda and the lowest amount on the scale for each potential cabin upgrade when added to what I paid for the original veranda is more than what those potential cabins would have cost me had i chosen that class of cabin when I originally booked.   18. Yes i agree. I currently have a BCC cruise and I called the regular Celebrity number ( not the BCC). And booked my internet and obtained the discount.
  19. Yes definitely call as soon as you get email to get best selection. First time i ever received an BCC email, i filled in the form and than waited and waited but never got a call. After a week I phoned the 1 800 number and did my booking and paid my taxes at the same time. Since then when I get a BCC comp, i call and do my booking that way. I have two such bookings on the go now
  20. Higher tier gamblers are getting good offers as well. We lowly (as you labelled us) may not spend as much on the gambling end, but we spend in other areas that are beneficial to the cruise lines profit margin.
  21. Im not a big gambler either. Ive received a number of free cruises. I pay the port taxes, the gratuities, spend a few dollars onboard. If the cabin was going to be empty, then it is a win win for me and the cruise line. I imagine they have historical data of what percentage of cabins go unsold on certain routes on certain dates and offer accordingly. Good marketing practice.
  22. My email had the same six cruises as yours on the first page of email. But under where it says book by nov. 26. It says click here Click and it takes you to the form where you give choice 1, 2 and 3. When you click there about 20 more selections come up. There are two for edge in February, one for march and one for april 7
  23. I just received my BCC email today for complimentary verandah. I was able to book a 10 night Edge cruise for February in an infinite veranda deck 8.
