I would not worry we cruise 3-4 times a year and never book in advance. There will be more tables opening up on board. The one day you may have an issue is embarkation night or if you need to eat early. We never eat before 7:30 and never have issues. On the ship I am on now there are multiple times available for tonight
Whenever there is a cruise that can be booked as an entire cruise or broken up into legs they usually have some cabins for legs and others for the whole thing
Your wife can hide her credits to book excursions for both of you. As far as the phone waits why not get a CVP or are they not available to you ? I can get ahold of my CVP and have a quick answer
Just a note we walked into Sabatini’s last night with no reservation at 7:30 only 5 tables occupied. No problem. Today on the app all times are showing available for reservations at Crown Grill. This is on Ruby Princess
All muster stations are located on prom deck on most ships. Your location will depend on your cabin location. We mostly sail all the way aft on Grand class ships so we know that our station is at the aft lounge
Once again never ever book the first few months on any new ship. There are almost always delays in production and even after sailing there are issues for at least 1-2 months. Cruise lines should probably not book new ships so far in advance
Don’t rely on email. Make sure you check with servers and chefs. This whole thread started because someone didn’t get a response to an email. We have allergies and question every menu we get on land or sea
Most people tip according to where they are. In. the US I tip around 20%. In Europe I mainly just leave a little or nothing. You need to research each country to see what their norms are
We have never had an issue with booking specialty dining while on board. Regular dining will be in whatever dining area is specified for suites. If this is like the other ships there is no reservation no wait
Loyalty desks are no longer Princess employees they are part of future cruise department which is outsourced. If you are on a Royal class ship best bet is concierge lounge. We always book through our CVP no issues
