  1. I had a look at a booking I made and here is part of the reply I received. The email address might help.๐Ÿค” "Should your plans change, please keep us advised at spsteakhouse@carnival.com We look forward to serving you! Kind Regards, Dora Kovacs Nouveau Restaurant Manager, Carnival Spirit Carnival Cruise lines"
  2. That is a real bummer. I just checked my last cruise with Carnival and I received the OBC. See below. Thank you for sending your military information for me. Iโ€™ve applied the non-refundable onboard credit for both of the bookings. This will be listed under your name in the amount of $250.00 AUD. Iโ€™ve sent 2 new updated emails to your travel agency to show this was added. If you want a updated copy of your booking information you will need to contact them to send you a copy that will reflect your total onboard credit as well. Have a wonderful weekend. 3. They had special during our 8 day cruise last week, 10 items in the supplied bag for $20.
  4. This is what is being reported on the Cruise Industry News site. Norwegian Cruise Line today announced that it has updated its global health and safety protocols by removing all COVID-19 testing, masking and vaccination requirements effective Oct. 4, 2022. Given the significant, positive progress in the public health environment, the Cruise Line updated its health and safety guidelines, which are now more aligned with other global travel organizations, the company said in a press release. "Health and safety are always our first priority; in fact, we were the health and safety leaders from the very start of the pandemic," said Harry Sommer, Norwegian Cruise Line president and chief executive officer. "Many travelers have been patiently waiting to take their long-awaited vacation at sea and we cannot wait to celebrate their return."
  5. We had time on our hands after a 1000 check out. So, we took the light rail from Chinatown where we were staying to Star City. Walked to the Star City Hotel, and called a Uber. Leee than 5 minutes to arrive, and only $15 to White ๐Ÿ˜.
  6. Thanks for your post. I spoke online this week to Princess. They said boarding times would be available 30 to 45 days before departure. I was able to get a 1200 boarding. Happy dance.
  7. This is what triggered my response. "The cruisemapper site is broken. Pacific Explorer left Sydney yesterday afternoon, but is still showing just off Newcastle."
  8. We are boarding her on Friday. It will be our first cruise since our last one in Jan 2020, which coincidently was on the same ship. Just a little excited.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. So far, so good. I will be watching. Thanks Geoff for keeping an eye on the webcam.
  10. Champagne Bay is one of my favourite places in the South Pacific, along with Bora Bora. ๐Ÿ๏ธ
  11. That is very tight, given that the tides vary by just under 2 metres on Sydney Harbour.
  12. This was also quoted by CW. "Celebrations of the arrival this morning were scaled back out of respect following the death of Her Majesty The Queen." RIP HRM
  13. Just read this on Cruise Weekly email. It will be interesting to see how much space there is when she passes under the coat hanger. "Pacific Adventure will be one of the tallest vessels able to pass under the Sydney Harbour Bridge thanks to a special marine engineering project which has given the ship the required โ€˜head roomโ€™ to make the transit. That means she will be able to operate from the White Bay Cruise Terminal, where she will move to later on today."
  14. I don't know if others are able to get this fare. Have Rate Code KEG handy!
