Hello everyone! So I did a thing today and bought 100 shares of Carnival stock. Yes, I know some of you will say it was an unwise investment move, but hey...I have a bunch of cruises booked, and the OBC would be nice on them! Anyway, my question is, I just purchased the stocks today, and our next sailing is February 26. I see that we have to submit the OBC request no later than 4 weeks before we sail, and that is coming up. I do not think we will have any statement or anything before then...so what can I submit to proof ownership? I bought thru TD Ameritrade, and I have a printout of the Account Overview, but that doesn't have any of my personal info on it like my name, address, etc. Am I just out of luck on this sailing? Thanks for any insight/advice you can offer!

We were on back in November, and didn't experience any rocking. In fact, DH and I both commented on how smooth she sailed!

Ah man, I looooooved the taco salads at BI. I didn't usually eat the bowl too much, just a few chunks here and there to give it a "crunch" like a crouton and to scoop up sour cream/salsa. Guess I may have to pack a bag or tortilla chips in my carry on now. 😂

Thanks for the comparison. We have been debating on trying MSC, my mom is really intrigued by the Yacht Club idea they have.

Vista class is the only class I will book a Havana room on.....they really did it right on this one, and ruined it on the Excel class. We absolutly love it....never crowded, lots of chairs available, 2 hot tubs, and that wonderful pool. Oh and it has an outside bar too. We spent most of our time in that area!

We like to cruise Sept-Nov, or Fed-April, due to the temps and kids being in school. We do try to avoid holidays, and the big spring break weeks. Cruising during the summer we found it to be too hot in the islands for our taste.

This is disappointing! We loved it last month on MG. I was really looking forward to it on Celebration…guess I’ll give it a shot, but I won’t get my hopes too high.

Yes, we were supposed to be on that cruise, and it would have been hilarious to have a port day in Charleston, a city we visit so often. Then we were supposed to sail on the inaugural Mardi Gras with y’all, but we all know how that turned out. And we just miss each other on the Vista in 2024, although that’s probably a good thing…with my mom and our mutual friend, there’s no telling what the heck is gonna happen that week! Yes, I’m sure we will share some drinks together…I’ve already decided to use my milestone OBC to help purchase Cheers for this cruise. With so many sea days, it will be a good investment!
