I am enjoying following you along. We have tried most of the luxury and premium lines. We have only one X cruise to Alaska this summer and will hold off booking X until things improve. Our next cruise will be in April on the Explora Journeys. They have only been operating since August. The reviews were shaky to start but are improving very quickly. Heike Berdos is the hotel manager. We have cruised with her when she was with Azamara. She was wonderful. So excited to try a brand new cruise line. Jim, I think you would really enjoy this line so check it out. Their price range is very close to the other luxury lines. Cheers, Heather

I have booked Eden on the Edge for this summer in Alaska. I have heard others say that the music was so loud they couldn’t enjoy conversation. I would like to know when the loud music is played.

We I’ll be in a CS in 10 days. We got a move up bid for a good price. If I paid full price I don’t think it’s worth it. We usually stay in a AQ aft cabin and enjoy the menu in Blu more than Luminae.

We will be in a Celebrity Suite in 10 days. Do you know if they were serving Mer Soleil Chardonnay or Duckhorn Cabernet in the Retreat/ Michaels lounge on the Eclipse?

We are going on Celebrity in a few weeks. We booked the Celebrity Suite which is about 400sq feet. A bit bigger than the Grand Terrace suite we booked on Explora. We spend a lot of time on our veranda so hopefully it will make the cabin seem larger.

Aloha Hawaii cruiser. On April 28th Kona it says method default. Do you know what that means ? we have always tendered in Kona.

Smashing, good for you. On deck 6 smoke from the Cafe shouldn’t be a problem on the Portside , correct? Anyone else on the Honolulu to Vancouver cruise? I wonder if it will be full? Maybe mostly sea days as they still have Lahaina on the itinerary and of course that won’t happen. we love the sea days and have been to the Hawaiian islands many times. Cheers, Heather

Will they let a cabin go empty rather than except the minimum bid ?

I leave in 25 days on the Eclipse. My three bids are still pending and nothing is locked or cancelled. My first time trying move up so hopefully I am still in the running.

How long will Heike be on board. I think three months?

Loyalty , suite and Zenith perks now for sale. I have a short X cruise in December and another Alaska cruise booked with friends. After that I am going back to premium and luxury lines. way better value for the money.
