  1. Took advantage of the same deal, including HIA, about 3 months ago.
  2. Never heard of a water taxi for this situation. Uber is discussed here frequently. There is a Hop on Hop off trolley also mentioned here frequently. Walking is Ok...have walked Waikiki and to the Ala Moana area from Waikiki, as well as to Diamond Head. Very commonly mentioned is TheBus, which is the local bus system, and is pretty good. Just takes a little looking around the board.
  3. Kinda makes one wonder if they read the thread...
  4. Welcome to Cruise Critic! Lets take you over to the portion of Cruise Critic devoted to NCL, located here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/64-norwegian-cruise-line/
  5. What port? Uber will make stops, just pay and tip generously.
  6. Agree with the above. Hampton Brickell is very frequently recommended here, nice hotel, great location, and if you can drag your bags, light rail drops you about 3 blocks away.
  7. Renting a car would be the easiest. Otherwise, another choice would be to figure out the closest Amtrac station, Uber or taxi there, and catch the Surfliner to San Diego.
  8. Not sure what this has to do with the West Coast board...better asked on the Cruise Air board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/77-cruise-air/ Whose plane are you actually flying on? That is who you check in with. I suspect you are actually flying AirCanada, so you would check in with AirCanada, as you can't select seats through UA.
  9. I would start by asking on the Windstar board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/96-windstar-cruises/
  10. On all of our 3 cruises in 2022, it said SPB. We had HIA on all 3 cruises.
  11. No doubt...tons to see. We did a 3 night land tour there about 15 years ago, going back this June for another 3 day land tour. Looking forward to it.
  12. You don't need your luggage to clear Immigration. And Customs, at least in the US, is not much of "a thing" any more. I assume this thread started on the NCL board. The OP needs to come back and fill in some of the blanks.
  13. Welcome to Cruise Critic! Lets take you over to the P&O board, the portion of Cruise Critic devoted to P&O, located here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/22-po-cruises-uk/ Tons of info there. The Mods will probably move this thread there soon.
  14. There will be 3 small letters on your room card/key...SPB. That will indicate you have the drink package.
  15. Curious where the "HAL's highest ranked" entertainment venue comes from? Didn't we just beat this to death last week?
  16. Yep...pushing it some, tho you are flying domestically, which helps.
  17. Curious how you know you gamble enough for rewards, but don't know what their reward criteria is. Perhaps you don't gamble enough? Is spending being credited to your account?
  18. You realize the cruise lines borrowed bucket loads of money to stay afloat during Covid? And that debt now needs to be paid back before they are "making bucketloads of profit"? And having full, or near full ships for even one year, if even that has occurred, doesn't mean they are profitable yet?
  19. Is a ship in port? If yes, there will be taxis and Ubers...that is where there is money to be made.
  20. Or because they are headed to the Med usually in the Spring, because as mentioned, it's cold in the north Atlantic then? However, we sailed the reverse last Summer. Copenhagen, Alesund, 4 ports in Iceland, 2 ports and one sailing day in Greenland, 2 ports in Canada, ending in Boston. Fantastic cruise. But that was July/August. Much nicer conditions in Iceland/Greenland then, even tho some very impressive icebergs.
  21. Yes, you can upgrade the drink plan on board. You do it at a bar, and you have to do it before you buy ANY drinks.
