  1. As commonly recommended here, check www.sunny.org. It is a website that lists all the hotels in Ft Lauderdale and their amenities, like parking, shuttles, etc.
  2. Come over to the portion of Cruise Critic devoted to Celebrity, located here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/16-celebrity-cruises/
  3. I would be looking on TripAdvisor.
  4. That certainly simplifies things...but I don't think I can comfortably recommend a 10:30 flight.
  5. Westerdam has been test driving the different drink policy. Discussed here from time to time. All the other ships in the fleet have the "pay the full price separately from drink plan" procedure.
  6. Probably better to park near SFO for around $13 or so dollars a day. Is the thread discussing parking for $20 you found? Note the surprise at finding $20/day parking. I seriously doubt you will find cheaper.
  7. I wouldn't be comfortable with 10:30, if I didn't know SFO well, which we do, and have TSA Pre, which we also do. Docking can be slow due to tides and fog...traffic can be heavy around the Terminal. Usual lines to check bags and get through security could also be a problem. 11am would be the earliest I would recommend.
  8. If they are not full, it's not about social distancing. It's about holding rooms for quarantine, and if they have been able to hire back enough staff.
  9. A true 14 will have 14 different menus. Was just on an 18 day cruise that had18 different menus. Not to say a couple items weren't repeated, like prime rib, but the menus were unique.
  10. Depends if it is being sold as a 7 day cruise, which you have booked as a B2B 14 day cruise, or as a true 14 day cruise.
  11. The other option, besides the obvious...stay in Rome, is to arrange a private tour from a recommended tour company like Rome in Limo. They will take care of everything...you get to see the sites. How are you getting to the port?
  12. "Must see" in any context, is always totally subjective. Whether it is "must see" means so many different things to different people. I would suggest that, if possible, see Glacier Bay.
  13. And, very importantly, the bad guys can pretty easily figure out what is a rental car.
  14. Already answered that back in post #8. The final day of the 2023 season is October 1. I did have a small typo.
  15. Deck 10, Lido pool area can be very loud, noisy and humid. We tried it once. Never again. The Retreat cabanas are FAR better.
  16. They were pretty annoying, but not biting, in both Greenland and Iceland in July. Bug spray was fairly, but not totally effective. A number of people were wearing nets.
  17. If you do a little reading around the board, you will find many threads on hotels. The common and popular area to stay that meets your needs is the 17th St area, which includes Embassy Suites and several other hotels mentioned here frequently. The price you are seeing for Embassy Suites might indicate heavy bookings and you are only a month away, with the cruising business getting into full swing out of FLL.
  18. I would suggest some reading around the board, there are many threads here on the drink packages. The $15 cap on ALL alcoholic beverages is the Elite Beverage Package, not Signature, which is $11. The Elite is unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, Signatureis 15 of any covered beverages total. Coffee is available 24/7 in Lido.
  19. Uber or shuttle would be cheaper and easier. Post Covid, the number and location of non-airport car rental offices has been a bit murky. I would suggest looking at the car company websites to see where you can book...the physical location and drop off. Then call those locations to confirm they are open, offering shuttles, days and hours of operation, etc.
