  1. Option # 2 is the City Bus, cheap, but drops you off quite a walk from the visitor's center. Post/Search in the Alaska Forum for other options.
  2. At least they didn't change to the Princess Themed Horn.
  3. Search with Royal for Miami and Fort Lauderdale, usually cruises available within a week. "Deals" are in the eye of the person booking.
  4. Gifts and Gear discounts coming as they’ve been regular price for a while. You need that Royal cooler bag.
  5. Internet works the same as being Diamond. But, you get two 24 hour periods(each) to be used on whatever days you want. Drinks works exactly as they did as a Diamond guest. No reduced package. Someone reported that a ten drink card was being sold on some ship, but this doesn't seem to be fleet wide. Use your five drinks, use your half off drinks, drink your bottle of wine, it is only three days.
  6. I will say that at times guests without reservations do get seated quicker. I know because we have given up making reservations. Will be on fixed dining next couple cruises to try it out again.
  7. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/wheelchair-motor-vehicle-guest-assistance no you don’t leave the scooter in the hall. You’ve got to move it into your stateroom. please note that first time scooter drivers usually have a heavy learning curve with the vehicles. Running over others is no small possibility and comes with consequences. you can do what you want, but I would consider giving up on the idea of renting a car and traveling the country.
  8. Miami port schedule is available on the big search engine that's close to being named after a number equal to 10 to the power of 100.
  9. As they say, there's a group for this info. (Who are They?) Sources say: Nadja and Cece
  10. When the only ship in town the Explorer would be at Terminal A. When THE BIG BOYS are in town, it should be at Terminal G. When similar sized ships are in town?????
  11. Bring your preprinted list of needs. extra towels wine glasses extra blanket ice daily foot massages daily
  12. I heard that each passenger gets a personal “ laundromat”.
  13. Looks like the end of January and beginning of February are missing. As you say, someone is probably negotiating a charter.
  14. This post encouraged me to look at Royal items on the big auction Bay site. I had to laugh at the lanyards, soaps and Covid bracelets listed.
  15. Sadness is relative, I think that accountants should get a 50% discount plus free wifi.
  16. George: Congratulations on your upcoming 66th wedding anniversary! Enjoy your cruise.
  17. Want more confusion, pay them now and you would have an annualized return of around 18.75% on your gratuity savings for your 8 month out cruise. Pay them NOW (before 11/11) at the lower rate. OR Pay them at the higher rate anytime after 11/11. (on the ship or on the phone) I will pay them with my OBC when I cruise. (See I told you I could add more confusion)
  18. Blue Plant - good enough, a bit preachy Momma Mia - People like it, long... Aqua Show - very good(the "clown" could go) --- Watch practice - it is better Ice Show - below average for RCCL(Yes, it's RCI) Comedy - depends week to week Love and Marriage - same as comedy Quest - tiresome, better if you have co-traveler on the floor
  19. I knew I was going to love this raise in grats, pages and pages of fun reading to come. The end of it is, that you will be you and I will be me.(or something like that) So many saying who they are with so few words.
  20. Think about the Black Friday Special sale idea: Gratuity Sale: $ 2 off per passenger per day!!! It is only money...
  21. So, you're saying; Size doesn't matter. Go it, Thanks.
