  1. shacking up... Yup, you are older than me.
  2. Bennies, former military folks need to share.
  3. 3 ways to leave the ship(if you want to return) during a back to back. You can leave the ship as the first people, then return and re-embark. (better have all docs and passport) You can go to guest services prior to the B2B meeting(about the hour prior) and get your new card and in-transit pass. Then leave the ship. Return when the other passengers are being allowed on. The in-transit card gets you by everything except security. You can meet up at the B2B meeting, go through the process. Then leave the ship. Again you need to wait until they are letting on passenger before you return.
  4. Like a beer snob or a master of spelling, people can call themselves whatever they want. I’m a triskaidekaphobian. And I’m not even sure that’s a word,
  5. The actual price is what matters. Percentage off can be deceiving. Depending on your gift of gab and the level of booking, the price available onboard can be the best.
  6. Make the company pay when you get aboard, win a couple K in the casino. if you folks have a lot of time on your hands, push push push.
  7. On some ships the daily meals are charged to some employees at a rate of 83 cents a day. I’ve heard many complaints about the variety of options for meals, but never about internet access. btw: couldn’t they give me internet access for free, I’m a paying customer.
  8. With the name neverbeenhere, they don’t even look at my first and middle names.
  9. Capture a photo of your sea pass on your phone. Then if there are issues, you can use the photo. If neither work, you only need to stand in the misfits line for a short time.

  11. email... I've only talked to my travel agent twice. (too change credit cards for rewards)
  12. IMO: The Kummelweck sandwich is frequently scrap. Once every 7 cruises or so, the sandwich has been good.
  13. Some staff like big ships, some staff like smaller ships. Recently, I've heard more staff wanting to go to the bigger/newer ships as their accommodations are much nicer. (Room size, crew facilities, crew gallery locations and offerings)
  14. Attempt to deal with this prior to boarding as stateroom stewards really don't want to change the arrangement after you board. (But they will do it) BTW: Another reason to book through a Travel Agent Professional.
  15. I'd be good with that. I'd also be good with allowing them on a ship, but the only food available to them is generic canned cat food.
  16. Without fail? Ha at midnight? Ha (you need to know the correct midnight) Without fail part2: app on phone or website- you may need to check them both. yes, you can pick boarding time, then go to sleep.
  17. We prefer later embarkation too. Been doing it for years. Only early times are when we are taking family with us on cruises, as they are relative newbies, and we always regret to early embarkation. But some value their extra two or three hours. (Out of a 150 hour cruise, three hours are nothing to us)
  18. Port and day dependent. Next cruise have your friends stay up for first picking of times. or perhaps they prefer 1:00, like us. Rooms be ready!!!!
  19. If these were “pills” and they were blue, they are gone.
  20. Will it work with my IBM XT? Sorry I couldn't afford the AT. (it was $20+ more)
