  1. I think maybe we are saying the same thing but different ways! The way I read it is that the evenings with a specific lounge are in addition to the daily 5-7 unlimited drink benefit. I think it’s just to give people another way to socialize and have a few free drinks together.
  2. I think it’s implied especially because it states daily where this is just a few nights. But we shall see.
  3. End of the third paragraph; additionally , drinks will still be available at bars and lounges throughout the ship daily by presenting your Seapass card if you prefer not to use the designated lounge space.
  4. It states it’s in addition to the daily drinks.
  5. I agree. Interested to see how this is.
  6. Thank you! I just rebooked and saved $100.
  7. Just received this email: I have heard from many of our loyal Captain’s Club members, such as yourself, that one of the program’s most gratifying aspects is the opportunity to be part of a community of like-minded travellers with whom you can share your experiences on board. I love that so many of you are eager to connect over your shared passion for travel and cruising. I am excited to announce that starting in January 2024, we will designate an existing lounge space for our Elite, Elite Plus, and Zenith members to get together on board during the daily Elite Cocktail hour. The lounge space will be available twice per cruise on sailings between 5 nights and 7 nights, and three times per cruise on sailings 8 nights or longer, from 5pm to 7pm. Your concierge team will inform you in your welcome letter of the specific days and locations where you can gather on board. Additionally, drinks will still be available at bars and lounges throughout the ship daily by presenting your Seapass card if you prefer not to use the designated lounge space. This gathering, in addition to our Captain’s Club Welcome Party, Senior Officer Party, Music & Mixology event, and more, provides our members with several opportunities to meet up, and we could not be more excited. Thank you for your loyalty, and I hope to meet you on board soon. Best, Laura Hodges Bethge President, Celebrity Cruises
  8. It was $13.99 for my December 2024 cruise. I’d check.
  9. Thank you for posting. I am in the US and just checked my January sailing. Upgrading is $13.99 per day plus gratuities. It’s been a long time since I e seen it that cheap.

    B2B Newbie

Yes! Thank you. I have put a hold on the second leg, same stateroom. I agree this is the easiest way to do it.
  11. Yes, we love them. But not for everyone for sure.
  12. We have a 4 night cruise booked next year and would like to add on to it to make it a 7 night. Can I just book the next cruise to make it a B2B or do I need to call?
  13. If you prefer a traditional balcony on Celebrity E class ships, the sunset verandas are the only cabins that have them other than suites. I can’t comment on them yet, we are doing our first E class cruise on beyond in January. also, as far as drink package prices, there is usually a 20% off sale and sometimes more when they have flash sales.
  14. Wow $1000 per person is a lot. I’d book the IV and then see about a move up bid to a suite for a regular balcony. I realize it might be more than the $2000 but you’d get more too.
  15. We love the Summit and think the ship is gorgeous after being revolutionized. One of our favorites!
  16. You could just have the porter at the pier tag them.
  17. Thanks so much for the review. We love Celebrity but I would have been more than BS to deal with your dinner and excursion issues! Nothing I hate more than spending half my vacation working out issues. So glad you had a good time regardless.
  18. Uggh! So disappointing! One of the reasons we booked SV on Beyond in January. I see a move up bid in our future!!!
  19. Our experience last week, although we were not in YC, was that the drinks in general were priced much cheaper than Celebrity. We saw almost nothing over $16. And this was a Carribean cruise.
  20. He’s very lucky. I’m glad it all turned out ok.
  21. Having done this cruise a few times I think the beaches in Aruba and grand cayman are the best out of the 4. I am not sure what is open on Grand Cayman as many places closed permanently during Covid. We enjoyed the beach at the Marriott hotel in Aruba last year.
