  1. Solarium is full ... well, it is popular. It was full on our sailing in June too. We noticed it and started coming earlier (we are early risers). The best experience was September 2021 with 2100 guests on board. Of course RCI cannot operate like this forever. We had decent buffet, but food is very subjective.
  2. Put your phone on Airplane Mode. No cell data usage! Buy ship's WiFi. WiFi cost depends on sale price before your cruise. During your cruise it depends on your status with Crown & Anchor and how many days you are buying.
  3. Sailing in regular accommodations we only had slippers ones. On Queen Mary 2. Didn’t use them, but they made for a nice souvenir.
  4. Flu/cold we brought from Grandeur in January 2019 was much nastier than Covid we had 3 times after cruises.
  5. I don’t think we saw many people wearing masks on Enchantment last March. 12 dayer, older crowd. It was also crowded in places like Schooner or Boleros. Still almost no one had masks. We didn’t get sick back then. My husband got sick on Anthem now. 11 dayer, older crowd, almost no masks. On Anthem during Thanksgiving we had 1300+ kids and many young people. Haven’t seen much coughing. I got sick on Adventure in September. 9 days to New England and Canada. Older crowd. No logic whatsoever.
  6. I know … just seems a bit complicated to use it all the time.
  7. Eh… not sure you can completely avoid crowds on cruises. How can avoid eating indoors? No MDR at all?
  8. Last January everyone was wearing masks at all times and many still got infected/sick including us. Then we were on 5 maskless cruises during which each of us got sick once. Not sure about direct connections between masks and getting sick.
  9. This is a whole point. You can use 5464645 devices, but only 4 at the same time if you buy 4 device package.
  10. Do you know if you listened? I guess they do, as last several times I really listened app first before arriving there and they just registered my card while during my first cruises after pandemics they had briefing.
  11. You register there. Show your card. Sometimes you have crew member who will show you how to wear jacket. You also need to listen to instructions on your Rpyal app. Process is much more pleasant now and no huge gatherings.
  12. This is said. I thought they either sell whole lobster or divide it.
  13. You can always choose it as it is on menu. I wish they would give an prion tail or claws. I LOVE claws more. What do they do with them? 🥰
  14. Thank you. This makes sense! There are still some precautions that make sense to use even if they are not forced.
  15. We usually never go to WJ for dinners. Last week on Anthem we did twice and surprisingly we found variety and quality very decent! We were a bit disappointed by lunch options in Solarium Cafe. It was extremely limited and quality often was weak. Especially last day (11 days cruise). During this cruise we either skipped lunches in WJ due to being ashore or in Solarium. We LOVED breakfasts in WJ.
  16. We work from home so especially for me (my husband does food shoppings) we do not have almost any interactions with people outside aside from cruises. We are learning new behaviors for sure.
  17. We: 1. Report to Muster Station 2. Eat in buffet if already open 3. Had to Solarium pool/jacuzzies with a drink to wait till cabins are open. 4. When rooms are open we either organize our clothes if we have our luggage 5. Head to Solarium for swim and sailaway. Especially on Anthem.
  18. Just remembered .. in June on Oasis woman in mask entered elevator and started attacking people for not wearing masks. It was so crazy. People should mind their own business. Of course this goes both ways.
  19. I though wearing seatbelts to be safer was a good thing. Not? Getting Covid and getting killed in the accident are different things.
  20. We bring tests too. Just in case we aren’t feeling well and want to check.
  21. And 5 drinks up to $14 throughout a day in any bar instead of happy hours in Diamond Lounge. Appetizers are still there though.
  22. We also were on this cruise. I think if people think mask would protect them go ahead and wear one. This was our #10 since restart. # 5 on Anthem. We were on her on both Thanksgivings, Christmas 2021, New Year 2022 and now. On Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 masks were mandatory everywhere unless you sat and ate. Tests were mandatory and we also were tested between cruises B2B. On Antigua we had to wear mask except for the beach. Guess what? We returned with Covid. Then we didn’t get Covid on maskless Enchantment, Oasis. One of us got on Adventure. Didn’t get on Anthem during Thanksgiving 2022 and one of us got now on Anthem Jan 2. After each of our cruises some people were reporting Covid. Many in mild or asymptomatic form. I think at this point we need to stop worrying about it. Of course people who believe in masks should wear them.
  23. What I love about Liberty and such is Crown Viking Lounge... Sailing from ports is AMAZING there. Here is an example on Adventure (similar to Liberty)
  24. Yes we were. We are also on September 7th cruise to Canada on Liberty. We were on Adventure (very similar to Liberty, just a little bit shorter) last year with same itinerary.
