I have seen the disclaimer about the watches and I am sure others have also. When I see someone looking at them I will warn them about not being able to get them serviced at a Authorized Rolex Service Center. I have heard that if you send the watch to one they will destroy it and not return it. Don’t know how true it is. The prices on those watches aren’t that great of a bargain but if someone really wants one and doesn’t care about the watch being original they can always have it serviced by some watch repair service center. We sign up for it every year. Elite and above get gold status. It use to be Platinum. MGM redid their tier status. Gold gives free parking, free valet, waiver of resort fees. The resort fee and parking amount to $60 plus dollars a day at the Bellagio in Vegas. you use to be able to get matching status at many other casinos with the MGM status that also gave great perks. Some do and some don’t now. I am not a fan of smoothies on the ship. Had a few on the ship and they weren’t that great.. They make a salad and blend it. Why not just eat the salad instead of drinking it? I don’t think they are the same as you would get at a smoothie cafe. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Those areas are hard to avoid if going to Blu or Eden unless you take the stairs from the MDR below . You may be able to walk along the deck on the outside. Not sure how far that deck continues. I am the OP and I don’t miss them. Just trying to have a different topic than same old stuff of drinks packs, gratuities and etc It was something that I noticed and some times if something is missing we don’t realize that it is. I always thought it was a money maker for the ships as they got a paid promo from the shops. There is one manager of a store that I became ‘friends’ with because of my purchase of many high end watches from him. I asked why his shop was no longer on the shopping map and he said that he was paying $500 per ship per day and sometimes there were 7 or more ships. He said that his customers know him and he doesn’t need to pay to be advertised. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

What was it that you were lacking in? The things that a butler does for us can usually be handled by the room attendant or room service. Anything else can be done by the host in the Retreat Lounge. We get the same room service for breakfast when in AQ. It is just someone else delivering it. We had the Drinks Plus package in AQ and the cabin attendant kept it stocked for us. We didn’t need him to escort us to the theater or make restaurant reservations but I have seen passengers having the Luminae host or the Retreat lounge host doing it Staffing is a issue everywhere. We just need to be patient and accept it. It seems as if it is now common for every business to use it as an excuse but it is being done We recently stayed in a Double Tree Hotel. We were supposed to have a breakfast included. It was a buffet instead of the usual restaurant style and very sparse. Less than what would be at a lower cost hotel. The next day was less just cold cereal, some rolls and pastries. No juice, oatmeal or fruit. Was told a supply and help issue. We didn’t get any money refunded or anything else in compensation. If it wasn’t included $15 was charged to you bill. It is frustrating but the new normal. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We were on the Apex and there weren’t any seminars for shopping in the ports. I asked if it was due to Covid and was told that X decided not to have them on the E class as they have many fine shops on board and don’t want to promote other shops. I wonder if they will adapt the same policy on the other ships as they become fully revolutionized? Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

You will get the amenities that come with the cabin and the perks that you originally booked. Sky Suites do not come with all of the perks unless you pay extra. Perks are Premium drink pack, SBC, gratuities and internet. You will get to dine in Luminae, use the Retreat Lounge and Retreat deck. The drinks in the Retreat Lounge are a amenity. I don’t think you get drinks on the Retreat deck unless you have a package. I was sitting at the bar in the Retreat deck and the BT asked a passenger to see his card. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
