We took a tour to Orient beach a few years ago. It was a rather cool [ overcast day plus very windy. Where the bus stopped to let us off seemed like a planned place to give us a “thrill”. There was a bush across from the bus. As soon as we pulled up a rather old weathered local came strolling out from that bush totally nude except for a hat and walked from that bush to another that was about 100 feet away with his middle leg swinging and dragging the ground. It was very comical seeing that. We were expecting him to come by passing his hat expecting a tip for his performance. No one was on the beach as it was very cold, windy and the the wind was blowing the sand thru the air like a sand blaster. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Simple answer no as they are unique to the Martini Bar. Depending on the time and crowd they may get one from there for you. If is this just a simple classic martini they will make it but don’t expect them to have all premium products. The bar is small and they don’t want to carry stuff that is a for a limited or one time drink. The Ensemble Bar was very crowded and noisy and we couldn’t get served. We left and went into the Retreat Lounge and the BT asked what we would like. My wife asked if they could make a drink that was on their menu. The BT said no but I will get it for you. My wife said that she didn’t have to as she would order something else. The BT left came back with it in about 2 minutes. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I don’t know if it applies to those booked before but the new Future Cruise Certificate allows 18 months to book a cruise. You aren’t required to book a place holder. After 18 months if a cruise isn’t booked you the money will be refunded something else is the names can be changed up until a cruise is booked and then only one name is allowed to be changed I will get a form and post it Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Heli pad is overrated. We went once and never went again when invited. There are much better areas to view sailing away from a port. If it is such a great place for viewing why isn’t the bridge located there? 🤷‍♂️ This is my opinion and I am sure others have a different one Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We went from a SS on the Starboard side to a SS on the aft directly under the bar area doing a B2B The cabin on side was a lot quieter and smoother sailing. Could hardly feel any motion at all or hear anything. In the back there is the constant noise from the wake, vibration from the propellers, fishtailing, rocking and etc. There was also a a lot of scrapping noise in the morning and sometimes during the day from stuff being moved around. It may depend on the cruise but there also were a lot of loud parties on the verandas below every night. There were many cabins with the dividers open and I am sure they were hosting friends from other cabins. It is also a long walk to the stairwells. Some may say that is ok as it helps burn off the calories. Trust me, the amount of calories burned wouldn’t amount enough to burn off a sniff of a cookie. 😱. That long walk can get to be tiresome especially when you want to go the the cabin to get something or take back. The good thing is when you leave the cabin there is only one way to go and same with coming back. It doesn’t matter what side of the ship you walk down coming back because you will end up at the cabin if walking to the aft. I am sure others had different experiences but I can only comment on mine. Happy cruising 🌊🇺🇸🚢🌅

They are a rip off. I live near the headquarters of Park West Galleries that are located in Mi. There have been numerous complaints and articles about them in the papers and on TV. If you google them you will find many articles complaining about them. the BBB rates them. D+ and not accredited by them We visited the gallery out of curiosity. They have some art on the walls but no prices on them and do not sell out of it. I have never bought anything from them but asked them about buying back something bought on a cruise and they said they are not in the resale business and the owner would have to sell it thru some other means. To me that means what they sell eventually ends up in a yard sale as there is no resale market. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I did it one time and the dealer didn’t care. He knew what I was doing. Also gave him a tip that he really appreciated. I did this when it wasn’t very busy. Tried it another time and the supervisor told me I wasn’t allowed to do that. She stood there watching so I left. Went back at a different time when she wasn’t there and with a different dealer. I had to use it at a table game because at that time you had to designated what you wanted to play, tables or slots. Lately you just insert you card into a slot machine and play. Sometimes that may not be that great. You may be docked with a ship directly behind your cabin and then all you see is the bow or stern of that ship. If you are the last ship at the pier you may only have the end of the pier and sea to look at. Beat advice is to pick a cabin in a location you want and don’t worry about how it docks. it would be more important to look at the route of the ship and decide the side you want to be on. Eg if doing a north bound Alaska you may want the starboard side to see the land most of the time. If a round trip it wouldn’t matter as you would then you would see both views. It that case a aft cabin would be best. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

If they don’t spend it there they will spend it somewhere else. That is why it is sometimes difficult to book a specialty restaurant , or some tours, or it could be why they still have the Art Auctions. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

It depends if the officer in charge is right handed or left handed.🙄🤗😱 We normally book starboard as it is the non smoking side. We also try to do because it keeps it simpler to know what way to turn when we leave our cabin or going back to it. If you cruise enough you will know what I am referring to. Most of the time our cruises were docked on the starboard side. The last cruise it was all on the port side. It doesn’t matter because If I want to see something on the other side I can always go to that side of the ship on a open deck. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The only drunk rowdies I have also experienced were on Celebrity. Both were at the Elite HH when they were in Michaels Club or the Sky Lounge. The one was a rather large bully that was threatening the CC host. He told her that he was Elite Plus, bigger than she was and and would have her job and kept on ranting and raving and threatening her. She was in tears. I stepped in and told him to leave her alone and try pushing me around. I was half his size but know how to defend myself. She called security and I backed her up. Never seen him again Another was drunk in the Sky Lounge during HH . We got in when it opened and also had a premium drink pack. There was a passenger at the table next to us that downed 2 beers before the server ever got to us. He started to yell at her that he wanted another beer. She said there are other customers that haven’t been served. I ordered a premium beer using my drink pack. She came to deliver it and he grabbed it off the tray. She told him it was a premium beer and he would have to pay for it. He told her to F off Security came and hauled him away. Carnival is what it advertises. A Fun Ship. Service was always great and the food wasn't much different.. Passengers must have liked it because they chow down the same as on Celebrity. We had fun but now enjoy the laid back experience on Celebrity Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We have sailed 16 times on Carnival and enjoyed everyone and kept on booking them. We tried Celerbrity and now have about 40 cruises with them and most were 7 to 14 nights with many B2B. Haven’t sailed on Carnival since We live too far away to do a short cruise unless doing a side by side with a longer one. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The Persian gardens on the Summit is nothing special. It is a heated bench like a church pew that is against the wall that seats about 6 people elbow to elbow. The room is like being in a cellar Bidding on the suite isn’t a guarantee. Don’t know how much the minimum bid is but it is up to you to decide if is worth more I would stay with AQ and book a suite on board for another cruise. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Louis XIII at Costco in Fl. It would probably end up being the same price after sales tax I have found for the most part that the duty free shops don’t really offer much of a discount. The small amount of savings if any isn’t worth the hassle of taking off the ship Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

One issue you may encounter is the guard at the escalator. I seen them only allow one piece of luggage pp on it. If you have more they will direct you to the elevator. Good luck Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
