Thanks We were in a suite in Oct. The only bourbons were Makers, Bulleit, Beam, Jack and rot gut Ten High. In Luminae there weren’t many wines available that were in the premium package. Most were covered by the Classic. It was always because of the supply issue. I thinks the supply issue was Celebrity not wanting to supply it to cut cost as there was Woodford Bourbon available in the duty free shop. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

With the increase in price I hope that they will now be able to stock the bars with plenty of the spirits that are included in the package instead of claiming it is a supply issue when they don’t have it. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Thanks UTube and buying from independent mom and pop stores. The small stores cost are in line with the big box chain stores. They also offer better quality and always willing to give advice. They need to be competitive to stay in business. Do a lot of planning and have another lavatory to use. The money I saved doing it myself paid for a few cruises. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We get a annual traveling policy that covers us for the year for any travel. I don’t care about the cost of the cruise as that is money already spent. I am concerned about the catastrophic medical part . I am on Medicare and I am not covered after so so many hours away from a USA port. I have also found that many health care insurance companies don’t cover medical conditions outside of the USA. You need to look at your policy. There was a premium drink plus package that included the premium drink pack upgrade plus the mini bar, snacks and casino credit. It was a deal depend on the length of the cruise. You got daily 2 splits of wine, mini bottles of Tito’s vodka, Kind Bars, and Pringles. I think if the cruise was 7 days it was a no brainer as the casino credit covered the cost. Find a BT that you like and makes the drinks the way that you like them. Grease their palm. They will accommodate you If you don’t have a package or want to upgrade do it with a BT that you like. They get the 20% gratuity. PLEASE DON’T DO IT WITH THE HAWKS THAT APPROACH YOU AROUND THE SHIP ON THE FIRST DAY. They are chasing the gratuity and you will never see them again. We recently booked 1615, the same cabin but on the port sode, on the Silhouette. The price was crazy. It was less than a Sky Suite. We would normally book a SS but couldn’t pass this up. $702 pp for a 4 day cruise plus around $500 OBC we booked many B2B. I don’t care if it is the same ports. I cruise for cruising and to enjoy the ship. We try to avoid the sun and like the large overhang. Is the balcony for the most part in the shade. I know it depends on the time of day and the way the ship is sailing. We spend a lot of time on the balcony. It is nice for a coffee In the morning and enjoying the sea while relaxing on the loungers in the afternoon reading or napping while sipping on a bourbon that we got before going to the cabin and depending on the butler they may deliver. I replaced ours with a walk-in shower. I did all of the work except for installing the counter top and shower glass. It was included in the cost and glad that they did it We haven’t used a bath tub to take a bath in ages. We only shower. For those that shower only they are dangerous. They are hard to stand in because they are slippery and worse when on a ship that is rocking and rolling. Many have told us that it will decrease the value of our house. I don’t care. I am the one living in it. If the potential by]Uber don’t like it than don’t buy it. The other is it won’t be my problem because I do t plan on moving. I will die here. Many hotels are also replacing the combo tubs showers with showers only. Before and now Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

On the E class they charge for pastries in the French Cafe. There is a charge for Gelato In Craft Social there is a food menu that charges for food. There are also some restaurants with charges for upgraded entrees Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I asked if I could order a drink and not dine in Sushi and was told that it is a restaurant and not a bar. Denied. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

It may be difficult because of the B2B meeting they may have to attend to get the transit pass for the next cruise. There will be a letter delivered announcing it and also a message on the phone to remind you. You will have to be on the look out for all of that. Shouldn’t zero alcohol vodka be water? Gin is also nothing more than vodka infuse with Juniper Berries. So it would be water infused with the berries. Get water and add lime, lemon, orange, tea, coffee and etc. No alcohol A few of my relatives attend AA. It is up to 35%.. Most are less but still worth booking if you find something. It is still going on. Just sign into your Celebrity account. Go to your reservation or cruises and then manage cruises and etc. you should be able to figure it out. It does get confusing whe doing the payment. I don’t why they don’t just ask if you want to use the OBC. You have to enter the amount. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The only time reservations are required or recommended is if you are with a large party and want a table for 6 or more. They will try to accommodate you as not many in AQ want to share a large table with others. Having a table for 2 is one of the reasons we like AQ. When dining in a land based restaurant does any ever request sitting with other diners? There are a lot of opportunities to meet others on board the ship and personally I have met many at the bars and waiting in line that we have become friends with. Friends being traveling to visit them, texting, phone calls and being on other cruises and etc. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We used the Elite Plus benefit of 4 cards for the price of 3. When buying the at the cashiers window the cashier took one card and did something on the computer and then said this card is a winner. We weren’t drawn to be a contestant and I think it it better not to be. We ended up winning $400 cash on that card by matching 6 numbers. My wife claims he did something to the card. I said he was just making the charge to our account. Coincidence?🤷‍♂️ We also won some smaller amounts that were for casino play. There weren’t many playing and it was held in Celebrity Central. Neither person drawn to play won much money. One did win a cruise but said it was about worthless. It was a 3 night Caribbean cruise in a inside cabin. I would recommend getting about 4 towels from the pool area to take back to your cabin to line the chairs on the balcony. I leave them folded over to help soften them up a little bit. The towels also help with other things that they may be needed for. I will use one as a exercise mat and to stretch. I also use one to stand on when getting dressed when I don’t have my shoes on. On the Alex and Edge we didn’t spend much time in there. For us the loungers weren’t as comfortable as those on the S class. They are also directly under a slanted window. During the day they are mostly in the sun light. My wife and are fairly nimble and for us it was a little difficult getting in and out of because they are close together and also because of the slanted window not giving much overhead room. It could be a challenge for those that aren’t. As another posted the rooms are rather senseless. One has a salt block, another a crystal rock, and a heated room. In the Caribbean I can sit on a outside deck and get the salt, humidity, and heat. I don’t need to sit in a uncomfortable room. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Another thing to consider is that the availability of “premium” drinks. We just got off of a B2B on the Equinox. We we in a SS. The premium wines seemed to disappear during the cruise and weren’t available on the next. Supply issue was the excuse. I am a bourbon drinker. On the Apex in Mar Woodford was available. On the Equinox they wasn’t any to be found. Supply issue. The only bourbons were those that were covered in the classic package. Supply issue There were also other spirits in the premium list that weren’t available. Supply issue I wonder why there weren’t any supply issue with those in the classic package ? Being a suite that had a premium pack included I got nothing better than a classic offering. Didn’t get what I paid for Something to consider.
