Years ago thrh were offering Canadiznz OBC at a 10% exchange rate vs over 35% at the bank.
I have clients that purchase it as a gift for someone's cruise.
There are people out there that want everything paid ahead of time.
Some do not have a credit card.
Lots of different personal reasons.
In my experience changing from a double occupancy to a single will not change the price unless you are changing cabin categories. The only adjustment to the price would be the amount of the taxes and fees for the second guest
What Ellen suggested also works, just change the name of the second guest and have them be a no show.
Yes, or cancel and lose the whole deposit.
Even if you knew a year in advance that you would need to cancel you could still wait until 3 months out until final to cancel potentially waiting for new itineraries to open up.
You will get an e mail.
Caution. You only have 2 months to pick a ship and sail date or you do not get the OBC. If you do not pick anything within 12 months you lose the $100pp deposit. These are also non refundable deposits
The suite concierge can make your reservations for the suite guests (if you are staying in a full suite) in advance as they will reach out to you the week before.
As long as you are willing to move to another ship and sail date there really isn't any difference between the old policy and this new one. You will pay the $100pp change fee just as you would have in the past.
Having sailed on Oasis at Christmas with the UDP you will be able to choose from Izumi, Hibachi, Portside BBQ, Playmakers or Johnny Rockets. Make sure that if you want Izumi or Hibach you book that as soon as you board.
If you bookedbinder North American terms you can change a guest up until 72 hours prior to sailing as long as one guest from the original reservation remains.
