My last 2 cruises we have not turned on the TV once. Not missed at all.

No, I was after final payment when I booked my b2b, Already had the 10 day for november 20th on Silhouette and added last week the 4 day Nov 30th on the Silhouette. I go the 50 off for the 4 day and since I had already paid in full for the 10 day they issued me a credit, took 3 days for it to show up on my CC.

Celebrity has been having major problems all week. At times it works than others it won't. Not much we can do but wait for the "most excellent IT team" (ie pure sarcasm) to get it working correctly.

Huh, So take a sip at the bar and dont like it, dont bother give it back to bartender but walk away and leave it on another table or something and then go back and order something else? Its very easy to tell bartender that you dont like this drink can I get something else but naaaa lets create more work for other people I see.

These menus have not been updated in years. Most of the beers listed will not be available. Wish they would move to a digital type menu that is able to keep live inventory with beers/wines availability as supply chain is so screwed still for service industries.

I have done 4 cruises on thanksgiving since 2016. All Caribbean, they usually have a nice spread on the lunch buffet during thanksgiving from what I have seen. Tho this will be my first year, for thanksgiving that while on a cruise that we will be on an island this time. So will see. But never seen anything special with it overall. And agree with above the pumpkin pie is horrid.

Nothing new, issues with Celebrity site again. I had troubles thru out day. But could not even get on now. Different computers, devices same.

Use it every time. No need for a full cleaning in evening. Still get turndown and yes towels replaced if on floor. The room attendant will meet you on first day and you can let her know when you want it cleaned etc. never noticed any difference in service.

Watch for sales. I just was able to upgrade basic to premium WiFi for my 2 cruises at 2.99 a day on Labor Day sales. Kind of no brainer overall. Probably will go on sale again on Black Friday time etc.

There is issues, what else is new. My TA had to call to do what he needed to do for me instead off his portal he can use. Not worried sorts itself out eventually.

I would agree with the quirks, I am on the Nov 20 Silhouette sailing and in a Concierge Prime cabin. The aqua class room starts at 750pp while the aqua class suite starts at 100pp. There are only 2 suites available on this cruise, Penthouse and one Aqua Class sky suite. I for fun just put in for the Aqua Sky Suite at top amount max bid of 750pp. All the other suites start at over 1k (as said none available)

So I'm a glutton for punishment, and as much not happy with Celebrity, decided to add a b2b a 4 day cruise after my 10 day on the Silhouette in November. Not costing me any extra days off and no charge for moving my air. Price was just too good to not do it plus getting b2b bonus, mainly just wanted to hit Key West for good Key Lime Pie. With that do you get the Captains Club laundry free bag (elite) still on the cruise, 4 day. I was only planning on bringing my carry on and backpack for the 10 day and really do not want to bring my larger luggage on this. I get the free laundry on my 10 day I know but is the free laundry available for the 4 day, would be giving them the laundry the first day. I still think I can make it since my travel clothes are very easy to wash and dry. Pretty much anything I buy in clothes now is directed to ease of cleaning and maintaining for travel. Also not super clear but my travel mate is not elite, I know she will not get the free laundry but is she able to partake in the 5-7 cocktail hour at various bars for drinks. We have drink package on 10 day so not a concern, 4 day is only a room only. I know she can go to the various events, CC cocktail hour, breakfast etc.

I know on past cruises. A few months ago they do have a separate vegetarian menu. You need to specifically ask for it. It’s not given out. Never had troubles with ordering and we usually ordered night before.

And yet the ships sail at close or at full capacity. If so many hated them how can that be. Yes its a love hate with people but the demand is there to fill them and there a plenty of people who do enjoy them.

Finding a good TA is mostly by networking. In that from what people here have mentioned is talking to fellow cruisers on board and who they booked with. For me I worked in the Hospitality industry for a long time and had contacts. The one I used for a long time, she is winding down and not as active anymore getting group rates etc. I found another by getting referred to them by a friend/fellow cruiser. Like has been mentioned, I tend to not travel in suites as its not needed for my travels so get excellent deals from about 40%+ off plus extra OBC with the perks, which use to be tips, wifi, drinks. Have not looked at any other cruises with Celebrity but have used them for my cruises with Oceana and Azamara (heard to many nightmares on their switch over to their new booking system) They are also a great resource as my next big trip after my 2024 cruises will be Christmas markets in 2025 I know nothing on River Cruises and they have sent me lots of great info as they have been on multiple River Cruises.

Nothing surprising. This is what having a great TA makes you bypass. Not a big box one. Been using 2 different people for over 20 years. Only time I call celebrity is when I want to upgrade my Classic Pkg to premium. I think they actually would do that for me also. Never have had any discrepancies problems with reservations, I know it has happened but there has been need of no interaction with me as its handled by the TA. The only thing I will book on my own is Air, and most of those call centers are overseas accept some of the local air ones I fly but usually can get it done easy enough online.

Correct, its not luxury anymore, I have moved on to Azamara and Oceana at this point after I finish up my next 2 cruises.

Kind of agree with that as they will keep more ships in the Caribbean for foreseeable future it looks like. Since they added Port Canaveral, would not be shocked within next year or so we see Celebrity out of Galveston also.

Its hard to compare since it is a different "Sale" overall. The prices are similar but will watch over long run on how they are. But the prices I looked at for a few cruises and comparing now the price for the Concierge and Aqua with AI are showing a little less right now with no tips. But as said it was a different sale yesterday. Also I will continue if I stay with Celebrity, to go thru a TA who has group rates as I can get great savings that way

You have a 50/50 chance of guessing correctly with no information released yet by celebrity.

I have used basic wifi for wifi calls, no issues, its when you start doing pics and large data transfer its not really usable.

It is available for my 13 night TA next april
