QueenofKrakatoa Posted September 17, 2018 #26 Share Posted September 17, 2018 Haven't seen that since Eastern Europe in the 60s! A lot of women don't, why should they? Nobody expects men to.

HillBilly Bob Posted September 18, 2018 #28 Share Posted September 18, 2018 What about PJs? Would you wear pajamas to McDonald’s or Burger King or Cracker Barrel?
luvscruising2007 Posted September 18, 2018 #29 Share Posted September 18, 2018 "Common sense" is a phrase that has become almost an oxymoron these days. Yes, I quite agree. But, it is always worth a try to suggest people think for themselves. Unfortunately, the fact they asked the question speaks for itself.
Rare LMaxwell Posted September 18, 2018 #30 Share Posted September 18, 2018 If you'd wear it to a diner, you're fine. Is this serious?
Rare BirdTravels Posted September 18, 2018 #31 Share Posted September 18, 2018 Would you wear pajamas to McDonald’s or Burger King or Cracker Barrel? Not me. But you see it every week. Is there something wrong with that?
kochleffel Posted September 18, 2018 #32 Share Posted September 18, 2018 Aren't there formal mornings on RCI? Perhaps you need a morning coat!
nealstuber Posted September 18, 2018 #33 Share Posted September 18, 2018 No dress code for breakfast and lunch, other than if you are wearing a bathing suit, they would like you to wear a cover up. Not so. On Vision last year I was wearing a sleeveless T shirt for a comfortable drive home on debark day. I was denied entry for breakfast at the MDR. Of course everything else was packed on shore so we did the buffet. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
papaflamingo Posted September 18, 2018 #34 Share Posted September 18, 2018 ...Is there something wrong with that? Depends on how "see through" the pajamas are, and who's wearing them. ;p
Magnetchief Posted September 18, 2018 #35 Share Posted September 18, 2018 Would you wear pajamas to McDonald’s or Burger King or Cracker Barrel? See it all the time here in my hometown. Mostly a good guide as to when the college students are in town.
FerretMom Posted September 21, 2018 #36 Share Posted September 21, 2018 Just got off Freedom a week ago. They were very strict about no sleeveless shirts on men in the main dinning room at breakfast, even on a port day. Women were fine is almost anything you might imagine. I though this was overkill. We were planning to get off the boat right after and one in our party was turned away to go change and then go back and change again. We saw two others also turned away. Interestingly, at least on the first night, they had no problem with the same guy wearing a muscle tank in the dinning room at dinner 😝 (his suitcase handy arrived yet but they didn’t even ask). I still preferred the dinning room when we were able to get there before it closed at 9:30. The buffet at breakfast was a f*ing nightmare (no where to sit, unaccompanied kids touching food, adults sneezing, people abruptly stopping and barely enough room to walk) and the food selection was almost exactly the same.
