What have you never done on a cruise?

Ok, I'm not thinking balcony club here [emoji85]

I have never been to the spa. Never gambled in the casino. No rock wall or flo rider. Never been to quest. Have only seen the love and marriage show, actually. No other shows. Am I missing out?? We usually spend our time at the pool during the day and bars a night. We nap before the late seating dinner and then go dancing after dinner. We are emerald so we have a few cruises under our belt.

I've never been so drunk that I thought "wow this pizza tastes terrific" came close after a bender and thought "tastes more edible" but never terriffic.

I've never been to a spa intro where they don't try to sell you everything in the store!

I've never gotten the shopping map and thought "screw the beach and jungle snorkel adventure we booked, let's follow this here map they handed and see what they were selling instead, looks like great deals at Diamonds international or tanzanite international...

Never paid to hold a table in front to pub for the parade.

Never gone to any bingo game.

Do you like live orchestra music? The production shows are a great opportunity to enjoy live music.

I made it to almost 30 cruises before finally gambling in the casino---even then it was only with the free pulls that Diamond status gets and only becuase we were travelling with people who love the casino and really wanted me to try it. I doubt I will bother again. Not my thing.

Same cruise I also tried BINGO for the first time. Same reason (also got a free card) and don't think I'll bother again.

One of the great things about ships is that you can tailor the experience to suit what you enjoy. SO, you cna enjoy lots of pool time (something I do very little of) and I can enjoy lots of shows and cruise staff run activities and we can both be happy in that small space :)

If you've never been to The Quest, then YES! You are missing out. It's so much fun, you really should check it out at least once, and decide for yourself.

Depending on the CD, you may have to try it twice.

Never done Flow rider, rock climbing wall or ice skating -I'm older and very uncordinated-afraid I would break something-and don't want to be wearing a new cast on my cruise! I have done the ziplining though,-figured that was not as hard to hurt myself on.

Never played Bingo.

Just did go to Quest. It was interesting.

Done Spa once and after the repeated sales pitch, do not plan to do Spa again.

Never attended any shopping information events.

Never ate with Captain. Did eat with other senior officers.

Never done belly flop contest. Not enough mass on my bones. :)

Never cruised in a suite cabin.

Never done a post cruise excursion.

Sat at art auction a couple of times and NEVER bought anything. Just watched to see how it worked.

We've been on 3 12 nite Mediterranean cruises and always planned to visit the Sistine Chapel in conjunction with the Vatican.. However, either closed for religious holiday, maintenance, etc. we have never been successful in getting to the Sistine Chapel. Hopefully, this August cruise we will have more luck as far as I can determine it will be open.

A visit to the amazing Sistine Chapel is a must. You need to get there one way or another. Have been to Rome 4x and the Vatican is always a place we visit.

Have never had the lobster.

Have never tried the waterslides.

Have never made it through an entire cruise without someone letting me know what their "special snowflake-diamond-triple-platinum status" was. I have also never asked.

Never played bingo.

Never done the flow rider.

Never ate with the Captain.

Never purchased a SPA time or internet pass.

Almost missed the ship once (last 3 onboard because of a traffic jam downtown St. Thomas) - never again!

Always book a balcony, AFT if possible.

Always prepared - everything is researched and booked beforehand.

Always book my own excursions.

Always have a good time.

Always meet great people cruising.

To twist the thread slightly, there was 2 things I had never done before, but started doing after 12 cruises. One was sit in the piano bar and listen to the entertainer, and the other was go to trivia.

I've done everything else, so we finally decided to do that, I guess I'm getting older. You will never get me to the Silent disco or the escape room though.
