Diamond + amenity question

Recommended Posts

We are leaving 8/26 for a 9 night cruise and this is our first time as Diamond +. I have read on the threads that we will get a phone call regarding our amenity. Does anyone know how close to sailing that occurs? As of today, we are 10 days prior to sailing. Any help is always appreciated.

Thanks.

From RCCL website under C & A benefits:

"Diamond Plus members and their travel agents can contact a Loyalty Specialist within 14 days of their departure to select an amenity and arrange timing for delivery to either their stateroom or dining room by calling (800) 526-9723 and pressing 9 at any time during the greeting message. Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. (ET)."

I suggest you call them since you are less than 14 days to sailing. They will tell you what your choices are.

hahaha....NP..............

wanted to add the list for the OP so she has an idea what she can order.........see attached..

Thanks for posting the list.

Question - is the beach towel the onboard type, or the one with the yellow logo available for purchase?

I always call and order ours. Call the D+ desk about 2-3 weeks before sailing. 800 526 9723 Press 9 during message

I called last week to pay for my Nov TA on the Voyager and she asked me if I would like to order for the Voyager and my B2B on the Oasis in Sept so she took care of the 3 cruises in that one call.

Thanks so much, I will call when I hear what you all have to say about what I think I want. Either a bottle of Pinot Grigot wine or a towel. Can someone help me out with choice? Thanks again.

Two completely different choices. Since you have access to the CL, you can have access to drinks and wines before dinner. So would you want another bottle at dinner? if not, go with the towel.

Yes....but do you have room to pack the towel to bring it home? :D:):D

The Diamond Plus deck has never called us. We always have to call them.

They have never called us either.

Kathy, thanks for the list. We are nearing 100 cruise credits, and we are still ordering white wine for 24+ cruises.;):D

Royal called my wife for our first D+ cruise. Neither of us have been called since. When we have a balcony, we have the champagne or wine delivered to the cabin. If we have an inside cabin, we'll have a bottle of wine delivered to our table for dinner.

We've always gone with the towel. We spend a lot of time at home in the pool and at the beach, so they come in handy. They fairly large and quite nice.

We just took the towels. I had the old ones that they used to have, but mine are really getting faded. These are even bigger than the old ones were. I don't like the new ones b/c they are so heavy, and since I take my own towels when I cruise, I like the thinner/bigger ones as they don't take as much room or weigh as much.
