I would say Capt. Rob is in charge on RH as the handover is completed this coming week. I don't think he'd remain on board out of uniform being the one who is familiar with the ship. As he said specifically, he is leaving on the 27th and while he is on the ship, he is in charge. This leads me to believe he will be bringing the new to the ship Captain Feduzzi up to date as he adjusts to his new ship.

 

My understanding of what I heard, of course. :) Maybe someone on board knows otherwise.

Wolf, I heard from Per Kristoffersen a few days ago, and he is now aboard the Oasis for a 2 week orientation with Captain Trym. So, not sure of the exact date of the rotation, but probably next weekend.;)

Maybe someone can tell you exactly when he retired. Gosh, you are only looking back 8 years, for the memory that you have of him.

 

Great Captain! I'm sure that there are many that remember his sister, who also enjoyed cruising, and for many years were the top cruising passengers on Royal Caribbean.

No, I'm not sure, I had a rotation date based on 10 weeks and obviously Capt Manolis is doing a longer rotation. I'm just trying to pinpoint the correct rotation date. I'll move the date again as Capt Manolis could have gone on vacation at the end of your friends cruise!

Our friends got off a 12 night on the Brilliance on 7/19. These are longer cruises to the Baltics and Scandanavia etc. We sail on her on 8/19.

That is correct, Capt Patrick is now in a Miami office where he can see his newborn baby more often and Capt Shrecko Ban will be heading to Papenburg, Germany after taking a short vacation. Capt Liz does not know who will be replacing her when her contract is finished on August 18. She will stay (extending her contract) if necessary, but she expects the company will soon announce her alternate Captain. She loves the Vision and hopes to remain its Captain for many years to come.

There is also some thought that Capt. Patrik is still taking out the Quantum for a short contract and after that time Capt. Srecko will take over the position. It remains to be seen for sure. I had expected him on our Quantum cruise but now I wonder. Capt. Patrik apparently has accepted that position in Miami but from what I understand it doesn't seem certain that he won't take out Quantum as originally planned.

 

As soon as we know one thing, it seems there is a change.

 

Does he now have a second child? His first one is no longer a newborn.

it's my understanding that Capt Dahlgren is doing the "Capt Bill" thing on bringing out ships. He'll bring out Quantum, master for a few voyages, then turn her over to her regular assigned master. I don't know if that will be Capt Ban first or Capt Gus.
