last week Monday or last week Friday???? I'm holding off adding Aris to the chart as it simply could be that Capt Catelsky was sick or home for a family emergency. Capt Aris could be the staff captain filling in temporarily. I'll need more info before moving captains around. I have June 20 as a rotation date for MJ.

 

I was onboard from May 5th-9th. Makes sense - last year at the same exact time we had a different captain as well, neither of which were listed in your post.

Just off Rhapsody on Friday. Captain Feduzzi will be moving from Jewel to fill the other spot. I forget when he will be starting, but will do 4 weeks before he heads home. I don't know who will replace him on Jewel.

 

Is he moving to the Jewel in 4 weeks or has already moved to the Jw? Did RH do anything special for D+ & Pinnacle?

 

He begins rotation on Rhapsody on June 20. No word yet on who will move to JW.

Ban may have been there but just sick or at a meeting. It could have been the stf cpt being master for a week. I was told the rotation would be 5-31.

Capt Srecko was in Miami for a few days at a special meeting w/several Miami staff and captains. I understand it was very intense. Lots of changes?

 

He reportedly flew from Coz to Miami and then went back to the ship 2 or 3 days later.

Thanks, you too. Glad your drive home went smoothly. I had to sit around Hobby all day and after delayed flight, etc, did not get home in MEM until 9 pm, should have driven like you, lol! Laundry all done and time to start playing the next ones, after summer break, of course.;)

Captain change on Quantum?

On the BOS it looks.like it was.less than 10 weeks since the previous captain started-- am I missing something? We like capt. Stig and were hoping they wouldn't make the change until later this.month and that we would have a chance to have him in August.

Not sure when the turnover will occur but as much as we enjoy sailing with Captain Stig, we were just on the eastbound TA from Tampa to Harwich with Captain Manolis and found him to be extremely personable, and a more than capable Ship's Master. As he maneuvered the ship across the Atlantic to avoid any heavy seas he did an excellent job of keeping everyone informed of the latest course corrections and the reasons for them. As a result we experienced some of the smoothest seas of any crossing we have made. The Brilliance will be in excellent hands whichever captain is on the bridge.:)

Captain change on Quantum?

 

Capt Patrik Dahlgren has taken the VP of Marine Ops position (congrats!) so he will not be bringing out Quantum. I know Bill Wright did when he was VP Marine Ops but that was then, this is now. Who knows RCI might change their minds again before November.

Interesting news about Captain Patrik. Had a nice visit and meeting with him on Oasis in fall Oct 2012 where he spoke a bit about Quantum to me. Was looking forward to having him as the Captain on my Quantum inaugural sailing. Congrats to him.
