Congrats on the upgrade! Having read your previous review, I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment! DH and I are booked on the Oasis for Jan of 2013 - so we are totally enjoying all of the pics. Hope this is the trip of a lifetime for you.

GOodmorning Trainman and Judith!

COngratulations on the upgrade. I think the JS are really nice. Especially the walk in closet! I think the upgrade fairy picked the perfect couple!:D

I'm looking forward to cruising via internet with you this week!

Scrolling through this thread I saw Petesweet and Jebl. I met both of you on the Serenade ALaska cruise. I still have fond memories from that trip.

Anyways, Hello once again!

Beej, I still have the lovely magnet from Last year on the Freedom on my fridg. I look at it everyday. Hello to you as well and thanks again for the beautiful magnet.

Trainman, am I mistaken, or is this your Honeymoon cruise? If so, COngratulations on the big day. If not, my mistake and appologies in advance!

Bon Voyage!

Hi Andrea, good to hear from you again.

Isn't this fun, 'sailing' with Trainmand and Judith.

Trainman, How high is the tub in the JS? I don't book one since DH is disabled and would have trouble getting in and out. Is there HC JS? I would go for that. DH uses a scooter and we really need the extra room .

I am posting this afternoon from the lovely and inexpensive Red Room Inn on 45th Street, just off I-95, in West Palm Beach, FL.

We had a leisurely 4 hour drive from our home in Palm Coast, FL.

There is a Cracker Barrel Restaurant across the parking lot from the Hotel where we will dine in style tonight and tomorrow morning.

We will leave the Hotel about 9 am Saturday morning for the 1 hour drive to the port. Arriving there at 10 am should give us a choice of parking spots close to the terminal.

We should be checked in by 11 am.

The last time I sailed on the Oasis they started boarding at about 11:15.

We get to board first because we will both be using walkers but the ramps are wide and we keep to the right and allow the younger and more fit cruisers to wiz right on by us.

Our priority will be the Roast Beef Sandwiches at the Park Grille in Central Park which opens at Noon.

This will be Judith's first time on the Oasis. She was impressed with the size and amenities on the Freedom last spring which was her first cruse. She has no clue what is in store for her on the Oasis!

This is her favorite photo of the Oasis. We have figured out that it was not taken in Florida but we have no clue where it was taken. If anyone knows, let us know.

Here is the Itinerary Map from the RCI web site.

At the moment, it looks like a hurricane free week. We are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather,

More to come...

WOOHOO! We get to sail along with Trainman again.... the only cruise I can afford to sail right now. Thank you to you and Judith for taking us all along! :D

Trainman,

Thanks for posting this photo. We have the forward hump next year and I was curious what the view was like from a hump cabin. Even though you are on the back hump, it still gives me an idea. I'm enjoying your review, thanks for taking the time to post.

Sheila
