Flipper133 Posted October 15, 2011 #10 Share Posted October 15, 2011 I was in Sydney overnight staying at Darling Harbour. Didn't realise that the RotS was just round the corner. Passing through the airport at lunchtime I overhead a number of people taling "Cruising". Now I know why :D Roll on this years cruise season cheers

Will be interesting to see what the Aussies thank of her. Alaska on the Radiance was our first cruise. I remember thinking I had an idea of how big she was from the dimensions - then we walked on to the dock and I looked up and was completely blown away. And actually she's kind of a medium sized ship compared to some of the new ones. We'll be arriving in Sydney in exactly 4 months for our cruise(s) around Oz. Can't wait. :D
The_Big_M Posted October 15, 2011 #13 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Nice photos! I must be getting used to these liners here as she doesn't seem so big to me. Hard to imagine how much space Voyager will take there though!
mommabean Posted October 15, 2011 #14 Share Posted October 15, 2011 So cool. How exciting. I see Berenice the guest services manager in the close up of the security check in area on deck 5. I also see Francisco is finally back - the nice white haired security supervisor. I missed him last cruise - great guy. Is that Steven, the DL concierge, standing in the middle of the picture speaking to someone? :D I love seeing this people from afar. Thanks for posting. I had thought of doing the 2 day sampler but thought I would instead go the whole hog :D with a trip round NZ. :D:D Especially as I took up a WOW offer on a balcony (my first):):):)
Mothballs Posted October 15, 2011 #24 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Great photos.Got off the Radiance yesterday and today it's back to reality. I was in a balcony on deck 7 which was handy for hanging out a bit of washing.I didn't realize that from some parts of the Windjammer people could see into our balcony and I hope that the image of my cottontails blowing in the breeze didn't frighten them:)

Did they offer any specials during the cruise for laundry?
