JoTop Posted January 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2012 I'm getting ready to start putting together my..."don't forget to pack list". If you were to pack one thing, what would it be? Also, have a 10 yr old DD....what should she pack and why?

cruisin4kicks Posted January 25, 2012 #11 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Don't know if it's something you have to have but we've packed a power strip on all the cruises we've been on. More a convenience than a necessity. Tim

Bettytrouble Posted January 25, 2012 #13 Share Posted January 25, 2012 We always toss in a fabric hanging or over door shoe holder. Kids never lose their sunglasses or goggles this way. Takes no space to pack, but toss it on one of the closet rods or door and you can use it for all sorts of things. DS consoles, crayons, tape , scissors,sunscreen..any of the things you may need to drag along .I hate running around the suite or cabin looking for stuff that the kids plopped down somewhere. Saves counter space and keeps the dressers uncluttered. One cruise we actually used it for shoes! I also throw in a pop-up hamper to keep on one of the closets. Again- takes up no space

Rare nogard13 Posted January 25, 2012 #21 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Flashlight! Also Ginger Root pills for sea sickness. Or, if you don't want to spend $8 on a bottle of pills, you can always ask the MDR/Buffet staff for a piece of ginger root (trust me, they have them). Then you can just dice it into little pieces (as needed) and take/swallow them as pills. The fresh ginger is more potent than the pills, trust me.
