Ummmm, those desserts look so scrumptious!!!

Definitely will try Celebrity Silhouette next year. We are Loyal to Royal,

but some of the little things that Silhouette offers are very appealing to

us. WE also love the ports visited.

Thanks Radio for all the valuable information and photos you have posted,

this has helped greatly and you kept every moment so interesting and have us all waiting for more.

Have a great evening!! :)

Radio: Thanks so much for all the time you have spent sharing your Cruise with us. We head to NJ tomorrow to get on board on Tuesday, and this really was a nice way to get in the mood!

Thanks again,

It has been wonderful reading your report Radio. It has got me through this week and the waiting. We also leave tomorrow for New Jersey. This 12 night cruise will be my longest so far. So happy to be going on her before she switches to the 7 day cruises in the fall. Wish she was coming back to new Jersey as it is very handy for us. Well one can only hope that we will see another X ship leave from Bayonne someday in the future.

Radio,

Thanks for a great "pre-cruise" experience. Your pictues have been amazing. Even though our itinerary is a little different, it was great seeing the islands that we will be going to. It was great of you to take the time to share the Silhouette with all of us.

One more day and she will be our home for twelve days.

Hope our paths cross on a cruise ship sometime in the future. Have a safe trip home.

Barbara

We are on the following one. It's just so exciting after seeing all these photos.

I really liked the glass blowing on the Eclipse, but they didn't sell a lot of the artwork, so understand why they shut it down.

Thanks Radio for all the great posts. I already feel like I have been on the ship before we even get started. Maybe my wife won't get lost. She has looked at all the deck plans and pored over your photos. LOL, even a GPS doesn't help.;)

It was lovely to see such great photos of the ship as we too are going to be sailing on the Silhouette June 24 out of Venice Italy. It will be our 3rd celebrity cruise! Like your many other readers I'd be very interested to read how you feel this ship and X compare to RC as I'd be interested in trying out RC someday! Thanks again and have a safe trip home! Slainte.

Good Morning. . .Welcome to Day 12 of “LIVE” from Celebrity Silhouette.

I was able to wake up very early today, and as usual I walked over to the Hideaway to enjoy a freshly brewed coffee. . .The first smell of coffee in the morning always seems to be the best. I reached into my pocket for the room key and. . . Unbelievable. . . I can’t believe this. . .yes I am locked out of my room. Who would have guessed that on the last day of the cruise I leave my key . . . I walk down to Guest Relations (Pursers Desk) on Deck 3. I ask the Desk Agent for a replacement room key. . . I did not expect her response, , “Why are you up so early?” No worries, I always get up early. . . I just left my key in the room. . . “You should have put the key in your pocket before you left the room” Oh. . .Ok, I will remember that next time. . . Give me a break, please. . .

We are heading NW at about 17kts up to Cape Liberty NJ. . . We still have about 380nm to go. I am sure that about 3300 passengers may be thinking about their cruise on this wonderful ship tomorrow. They may be making some last minute purchase, or doing some last minute packing. I am sure though, that they are unaware of what they are about to enjoy.

There are only a couple of cruises left for Silhouette out of Bayonne, NJ, and then she will spend the summer in Europe. I am not sure yet of what the future will bring to the NE area ports after April 2013, but we should all find out very soon.

I really enjoyed the Andy James / Illusionist show lat night. . .I am still scratching my head trying to figure out how he made the table levitate ? ? The Casino Royale has not been very Radio friendly over the last 2 days. . .Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. Maybe I will try once more tonight.

Here are a few pics from last night and this morning. I have a Cruise Critic lunch scheduled for today at Noon. .. That should be very nice.

Thanks for tuning in. . .

Radio, even though I don't know you, I fell like I know you like so many others. I was up early myself and usually wait till I get to work to check out whats happened in the last day. To my surprise you already posted, what a great way to start my week. I will be on the TA in 13 days. Thank you for everything, sounds like you had a great cruise.

I can't believe it's "our" last day! Now that you've gotten the challenge of the day out of the way (forgetting your room card - oops), enjoy the sun, warmth and maybe a little time in Casino Royale. Thanks for everything you do Radio - you're a life saver!

WOW!! What a great picture of the sunrise! So peaceful and beautiful! I also love that you can see the curvature of the earth! Very cool!

Enjoy your last day on the ship!

The curvature is from the wide angle lens on the camera. ;-)

Hi Radio,

I just want to pop in one last time to thank you so much again. we are all packed and ready to go. Tomorrow can't get here fast enough! I feel so familiar with the ship already, thanks to your wonderful detailed reports.

Hope you had a wonderful time and again, thanks so much for taking us along with you for the ride!

and with all the cruises you've been on, you never caught on that the casino only pays on the way out? then they take it all back on the return!:D hmmmph, not radio friendly at all though!!!!!!!!
