I just spoke with "Celebrity Cruise Enhancements", and the specialist said this special can be booked on board when you arrive on the ship. I guess the moral of the story is: Wait till you board, there could be specials abound. On our last cruise aboard Solstice I got the 10% off the premium package, as well as a discounted specialty dining package of 5 dinners that was 20% off.

FYI ..... For what its worth, I just called Celebrity "Cruise Enhancement Specialists" to inquire about what I had just read above and this is TRUE!!!!, although it wont be on their website for a few days.

 

Works perfect for us as we are on the Eclipse Nov 17th and this cruise fits the month and a half window!!!!

Maybe, but would bet not. Would be surprised if they offered a discount after we leave land for seven days at sea. Ya never know though. I want it for our March Cruise on the Eclipse so will have to wait a couple days for it to show on the Website. Just checked and not there yet.

It looks like there is a short window for booking, and a short window for the cruises that it applies to.

 

If that is correct your March cruise will not qualify.

There will be another offer in January for cruises through March. That's what we're waiting for. Leaving 2/22/13 on the Equinox.

 

Cruised similar dates earlier this year on Millenium and the offer came out 2nd week of January.

I guess there was a discount last June,

I missed the email , and just think now, on the the ship we did not get a discount when we pick up a non alcohol package

If you read the post it states that the special is only available 11/12 through 11/25. If you want the discount, get it during that time frame and pay ahead. Onboard you can always get money back in the casino that you haven't spent out of your OBC. There is a small fee I believe if you are just getting cash back. I was going to wait to get mine too with my OBC, but I'd rather have the savings.

OBC can only be used on-board.

 

The sale has a short window, (see ORV's post above) so it doesn't appear that you would qualify if you wait until you are on board in December.

 

If you buy the package ahead of the cruise, and pay for it at the time of booking it, you can always cash in the excess OBC at the casino for a 5% fee. You might still come out ahead, moneywise.
