jtl513 Posted March 14, 2013 #102 Share Posted March 14, 2013 Ina, she is off to the Med, first stop in Portugal I think, Funchal Madeira I'll bet they pick it up on the way out. If it wasn't needed the davits wouldn't be out and the cables down. It's probably sitting on the port side somewhere waiting for cast off.I'll bet the people standing under the empty davits for muster drill are hoping they pick it up before leaving port!! :D
monina01 Posted March 14, 2013 #103 Share Posted March 14, 2013 ah thanks - little one is not good - her knee is popping out - something has happened between check up three weeks ago and now. So we have to do rehabilitation exercises and she goes back next week. The hopes are that it's just a muscle problem and that will solve the problem. Otherwise they will have to make a deeper groove in her knee and I will be starting all over again:eek: Trust me she will get all of her exercises. Crossing my fingers :( so sorry to hear that.....does not sound like a muscle problem...
0bnxshs Posted March 14, 2013 #104 Share Posted March 14, 2013 No. If it is 4 Eastern, it is 5 Atlantic. I used to live on the Maine border and it would be five o'clock if I looked out the front door and four o'clock if I looked out the back. Really. I lived 200 feet from the border. Florida is really south of Toronto. We are much further east here. Ummm... yeah... of course. You're right. Senior moment here (I'm too young for many of those..... ) :o
Rare 1of4 Posted March 14, 2013 #105 Share Posted March 14, 2013 Atlantic Time encompasses the Maritime provinces and is one hour later than Eastern time. Newfoundland time is one and one half hours later than eastern time. The rest of Canada forgets we are here so I suppose it is OK if you do :) Awww Sapper, I would never forget about you....Newfoundland, is a different matter....I always forget that extra half hour! Rare kazu Posted March 14, 2013 #108 Share Posted March 14, 2013 :( so sorry to hear that.....does not sound like a muscle problem... hopefully it is - the one muscle has shrunk from lack of use and pulls - so we will see - we'll be stretching it out. After all, she's had 9 weeks of having her activity restricted and an operation. I'm hoping my vet's best guess is right (she is consulting with the surgeon). Rare Vict0riann Posted March 14, 2013 #115 Share Posted March 14, 2013 People are still out on the mustard deck! Those three large lifeboats all look different - I suppose at least one of them is a tender. And it looks like there is a gap behind them - one missing?
