Submarine in Port Everglades

There is a submarine sitting "smack dab" in the middle of Port Everglades.

 

Interesting sight to say the least.

I just heard the Harbor Master say that they are turning it now. Would really be interesting to see from your veranda! Causing a real "traffic jam" with the Sunday boaters however!

There is a giant slash, appears to ba a layer of skin? missing and they also offloaded a lot of what appeared to be staples (Canned goods in cases, etc.,)

 

Speculation on PEG Web Cam FB Page is she ran into or something ran into her?

"Total guess... it's the survey sub that has been running exercises off Port Everglades and now they are dropping off civilian contractors because the testing is done?"

I was checking around and there was a submarine that had an accident on March 13 -- but it is not the same one.

This made me think of our Panama Canal cruise in 2010. We had a submarine in the channel next to us going through the canal.
