Hi again - still following along with you! Just wanted to ask if the comedy shows and Ocean Aria are repeats. I notice from the Compasses that they are on at different days and times of the week and wondered if it is the same show/act. Thanks for taking time out of your vacation to answer questions.

Dinner at Chops was what we have come to expect, too many delicious appetizers, amazing steaks and huge decadent desserts. :D

We finished dinner about ten which have us an hour to pack. Obviously we are in complete denial since the empty suitcases are still under the bed.

We got everything stuffed in the bags and moved into the passageway sometime after ten thirty so we headed down to the casino to say goodbye to our favorite slot machines. One of them didn't want us to leave and kicked a hundred dollars our way. Nice way to end a cruise. :D

PCWalton... loved your Live blog! Really appreciated the info!

...but now it's time to gather your belongings, and quickly move off the ship. Please move along, quickly, please... BECAUSE IT'S OUR TURN TO SAIL ALLURE!!

Thanks again for your Live blog!

Thanks for sharing our cruise. It's been lots of fun. Can't wait to one on board in a few hours (which is probably why I'm awake at 4:30).

Well I can't see water from the balcony anymore so it must be time to leave. So I will be signing off now, I hope you all enjoyed the cruise. I will do a recap in a couple days with a few more pictures once we get home and settled in.

Can you give me a suggestion? I'll be up and out by 5:30 am, while my kids in their 20s will sleep for hours more. On other ships I have enjoyed leisurely breakfasts at WJ when it opens at 7:30, and then left when crowds showed up.

Traveling with my kids sometimes feels like being a solo traveler, depending on their shipboard social lives LOL. I'm therefore hoping for dining venues where I will be able to sit alone for leisurely meals with a book or to people-watch, without being rushed to clear the table. I don't want to tie up a table when other people can't find seating at all.

Room service is ok once in awhile, but I don't want to see a kid snoring when I've been up for hours. It makes me very cranky.

Did you happen to notice whether WJ, the Solarium or other dining venues were quiet at any times? I've been concerned by the reports that WJ is too small for Allure, and that I might have to give up leisurely early breakfasts there. Was the Solarium adequately air conditioned for comfortable breakfasts and lunches?

I've loved your photo review - thank you for posting it.

Thanks for a great review. I'm always surprised at how many different photos and photo angles other people can take of the exact same ship. I've been on Allure and Oasis and your pictures showed me things I didn't remember at all, or showed me favorite things in a new way. We'll be on Allure in November and now I can't wait, your review made me homesick for that big ship!

On sea days I don't think that you will find any issue eating breakfast in the Windjammer if you are an early riser. I am up by 5 AM every day and we go to breakfast as soon as the Windjammer opens. We never felt rushed. The solarium also is quiet first thing and even on port days it doesn't seem as hectic as the Windjammer. I also understand that the Wipeout Cafe is now open for breakfast. I can't comment on it as that has not been the case when we have sailed but I suspect that it is probably not anywhere near as utilized as some of the other venues. And it does have outside seating which I really like. We often ate lunch there. Then there is also the option of Johnny Rocket's for breakfast with outside seating on the Boardwalk. Again, if you are an early riser, and especially on sea days, I think you could probably have a very leisurely breakfast there.

One last post today for those of you boarding today. There may be a delay as they are already an hour behind on departure calls. We have tag 76 which had a departure if 9:45 - 9:55. But they just finished with tags 40 - 45.

We're tag 73 and still waiting at 10:30. Original estimate was 9:30.

They just announced that outside is very busy so they're holding on other tags. Last call was 70.

Thank you so much for taking us along. Your cruising style seemed to be one of the most relaxing and satisfying of many who have posted here lately. You did what you wanted when you wanted and didn't anything else just because others were trying to do it all. You just enjoyed yourself and all the Allure had to offer that you decided was right for you.

Thanks in particular for the tip about breakfast at the Wipe Out. I love eating outdoor or where I can see the ocean while dining. I had wondered about the Samba Grill and Izumi for the same reason. You chose them both and I think we will, too, because of your positive experience.
