First Cruise Liner at Townsnvilles new terminal

The first cruise liner to use Townsvilles new terminal called in yesterday, Friday 26th October. Volendam had the honour of being first.

The Navy had christened the facility earlier this week.

Great photo, thanks David. Hope the new terminal will lead to a boost in the tourism industry for Townsville. There used to be a lovely boardwalk area with shops and eateries off the mall area, but for some reason it didn't prosper.
