scomar Posted November 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2013 Can anyone tell me what eating venue on the Jewel is open the latest and how late they stay open? Get those late night munchies after drinking and dancing:D
Clarea Posted November 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 22, 2013 It would either be the Solarium or Seaview. Serenade used to have pizza late in the Solarium.

negc Posted November 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 22, 2013 Don't forget room service! But remember that there is a service fee for room service during the wee hours.
Paulette3028 Posted November 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 22, 2013 It would either be the Solarium or Seaview. Serenade used to have pizza late in the Solarium. We were on Jewel this past July, Sea View was never open late at night...the sign said it would be, but it wasn't.
Chasin8 Posted November 23, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2013 We were on the Jewel in November. Late night food was nonexistent, not even room service.
KittyCat1Million Posted November 23, 2013 #7 Share Posted November 23, 2013 Solarium Pizza was about it. Probably the biggest negative of Jewel and Serenade. Room service should be available. Wonder why the poster above said it wasn't? And if I am REALLY hungry a little after hours charge for room service isn't going to stop me.
gerif Posted November 23, 2013 #8 Share Posted November 23, 2013 But remember that there is a service fee for room service during the wee hours. But that small fee includes the tip which one would give anyway so it's pretty much a wash.
bouhunter Posted November 23, 2013 #9 Share Posted November 23, 2013 not even room service. Never heard of this before on an RCCL ship.......

voyager89 Posted November 23, 2013 #11 Share Posted November 23, 2013 I´ve read from recent Jewel cruisers its the Solarium, and that there is a little set up outside the Windjammer with coffee and I believe pastries. So weird to read now that not even one or the other were available  49 days to check on it on my own
negc Posted November 23, 2013 #12 Share Posted November 23, 2013 (edited) We were on the Jewel in November. Late night food was nonexistent, not even room service. Was there some explanation given for its being unavailable? On any RCI ship I have sailed on the Jewel being one of them,24 hour room service has always been available (with a small fee after midnight). Only on the morning of debarkation has the service not been available. Solarium and Seaview were also open late into the evening so your experience seems to be the exception that proves the rule. Langley Cruisers Posted November 23, 2013 #13 Share Posted November 23, 2013 ...there is a little set up outside the Windjammer with coffee and I believe pastries. That is early morning, before the Windjammer opens for breakfast. :)
scomar Posted November 24, 2013 Author #14 Share Posted November 24, 2013 So from what I am reading it may be a crap shoot as to rather something is open late night? As long as there is some room service that will be fine too. I just don't like waiting for food when I have the munchies though LOL:D
39august Posted November 24, 2013 #15 Share Posted November 24, 2013 On Jewel last May the Seaview Cafe was open most nights until 1 AM. Room service is available 24 hrs. except first and last day of cruise. You can always get something from the WJ when it is open and take back to your cabin. I often make a cheese plate.
