slidergirl Posted July 16, 2015 #126 Share Posted July 16, 2015 My opinion: yes, I think it is too small. But, you have a body that would great in the right bikini, just not this one. A sociological observation: men will buy bathing suits and lingerie for their SOs based on what they see and like in those magazines and ads that show the size 00s down below with the 36DDs up top. They don't think about what it will actually look like on you. Too bad swimwear isn't returnable (at least where I live it isn't). I would thank him for thinking about you, but be honest with him and say you aren't comfortable in it. Go and buy one you like and feel comfortable in. I have found many stores will take a return on them....as long as you keep that strip on it (they normally always come with one on the crotch panel).....as long as that is still in place? Most major dept stores will take them back. (where I live anyway). Edited July 16, 2015 by Lois R
awhfy Posted July 16, 2015 #128 Share Posted July 16, 2015 I agree with slider girl. Take the suit back, tell the store it was a gift from your DH. Exchange it for a slightly bigger one you'll be more comfortable. Maybe you can find the same one...
CELTICGIRLCRUISER Posted July 31, 2015 #129 Share Posted July 31, 2015 I'm not a fan of strings on bikini bottoms so for me it looks risque. You look in great shape so maybe one size up would be better, you could get away with it but it is what you feel most comfortable in.

Garv816 Posted July 31, 2015 #131 Share Posted July 31, 2015 (edited) I, honestly, think you look outstanding and especially after a baby!! I say wear it and wear it with "mamapride"!!! I'm the woman in the picture not the guy...although he'd probably tell you the same thing, lol! Edited July 31, 2015 by Garv816

TravelinGert Posted August 2, 2015 #133 Share Posted August 2, 2015 (edited) here's favorite i saw on a cruise I wish I had the guts to wear that in public. I'm sure I spend far too much time worrying what others will think of whatever I wear on cruises. Honestly, I'd probably have to give her a thumbs up if I caught her eye. And as long as we're being frank, I'm wearing a full coverage one piece that looks like a tankini plus fitted swim skirt. I doubt I'll look any more like the swimsuit models in ads than her, but I'm comfortable with it. Giving up the ideal and getting real is hard to do with all those ads in your face all the time. Marcoakis: You look awesome. That suit is a tad too ...not quite right really. It seems to me with a slightly different style or maybe just a twinge more fabric you'd be killer in a bikini. Calebo Posted August 2, 2015 #134 Share Posted August 2, 2015 I also have a hard time finding bathing suits to fit...but I recently went into a lingerie shop that sold bathing bras, which you wear under tankini tops designed for these bras. I bra, 2 tops, 1 briefs, set me back over $400.00 but They Fit !!!! They fit well, as anyone with a big bust will find it worthwhile. There is nothing worse than suits with the girls hanging out or not fitting properly.
Floridiana Posted August 3, 2015 #135 Share Posted August 3, 2015 You have a great body and should wear a stunning bikini, not that little skimpy thing for a 12 year old without a figure.
whataboutport Posted August 4, 2015 #136 Share Posted August 4, 2015 here's favorite i saw on a cruise I hope you're being serious and not being sarcastic and fat shaming. I also wish I had the guts to wear that with confidence, and I'm 120 lbs.

Shekim Posted August 15, 2015 #142 Share Posted August 15, 2015 I have a couple in this style. The front covers a lot and I wear them with the black shorts swim bottom http://s7d9.scene7.com/is/image/JCPenney/DP0504201517021563M.tif?wid=180&hei=180&op_usm=.4,.8,0,0&resmode=sharp2
