mickeycrz03 Posted April 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Due to schedules that we cannot change, we are forced to fly in day of cruise. The earliest arrival I can get arrives MCO at 11:30 a.m. We are a party of 4 adults ... We have always had a rental car in the past because of pre-cruise days at Disney. Looking for suggestions for private transfers that would allow for quick stop for wine before dropping off at the port. bouhunter Posted April 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2014 I'd be more interested in getting to the ship on time than getting some wine
mickeycrz03 Posted April 25, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted April 25, 2014 We definitely would not attempt a wine stop if time doesn't allow ... Sent from my iPhone using Forums

bigque Posted April 25, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2014 I'd be more interested in getting to the ship on time than getting some wine If they arrive at 11:30 am they have plenty of time to make it to the ship on time!
leahlovescruising Posted April 25, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 25, 2014 we booked with Orlando Chauffeured Services and have had great service thus far. price was $200 RT from MCO to cocoa beach.
ryano Posted April 25, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 25, 2014 If they arrive at 11:30 am they have plenty of time to make it to the ship on time! Not much leeway though. My math tells me they have about an hour to an hour and a half leeway time. Plane arrives at 11:30am (hopefully) Id say it would take an hour to get off the plane, get bags and get to their transportation? Another hour to the port and they are 1:30 to 2:00 arriving at PC. Doesnt everyone HAVE to be checked in and on board by 3? OP, is there ANY chance you booked this flight through RCI?

I guess when you look at it like that because by the time we landed at 11:30 we were off the plane, rented a car and was in at our hotel in Port Canaveral by about 1:45. paggerscorvette Posted April 25, 2014 #11 Share Posted April 25, 2014 We have always used Cocoa Beach Shuttle. They are reliable and affordable. Have a great cruise
Merion_Mom Posted April 25, 2014 #12 Share Posted April 25, 2014 We have always used Cocoa Beach Shuttle. They are reliable and affordable. Have a great cruise In the OP's situation, I would use a limo/private car hire rather than the Shuttle people.
cruisinfanatic Posted April 25, 2014 #13 Share Posted April 25, 2014 We definitely would not attempt a wine stop if time doesn't allow ... Sent from my iPhone using Forums I'd think that the op would forgo the wine if running late, don't you?
mickeycrz03 Posted April 25, 2014 Author #14 Share Posted April 25, 2014 I'd think that the op would forgo the wine if running late, don't you? I am the OP and you bet we'd bypass a wine stop if it meant being late ... My main concern is reliable transportation to and from port 😄 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Debitoo Posted April 25, 2014 #15 Share Posted April 25, 2014 I buy my wine at home and put it in my luggage if I don't have time to stop on the way to the port. I just use one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Diaper-Reusable-Absorbent-Eco-Friendly-Accessory/dp/B00308FONW That way you won't have to worry about stopping...just a thought. ;)
