Does anyone else find it amusing (and not a little scary) that this thread already has (over) one hundred posts?

It had more than that until some got a little to graphic in their descriptions and seems headed that way again.

Mike:)

What a great addition to the ships. We have used these seats in our home for almost 30 years now and it is great to know that they are available on the cruises. I still don't understand how people still use tissue and think they are clean (yuck ). This seat in the picture is available on Amazon under Clean Sense Bidet. Now if more hotels would start installing these we could travel without our portable models. note: the airlines had these same exact seats on them too when we last traveled to Asia.:D

Don't think they are in all the cabins, just public bathrooms?

Can't believe this thread is back. It's been resurrected from last May.

I think the Enema Wash sounds "uplifting"! I'm with the other folks who were glad there is no ATR button.

I think another thing in the bathroom to make your visit more comfortable can only be a good thing. My wife wants to know if it has an exhaust fan function?:p

it has an automatic exhaust system when you sit down, the air passes through a carbon air filter.

I read through all the posts about his topic and have one more to add. Our son and daughter-in-law have lived in Japan for several years and we have visited many time. This type of toilet is amazing!

(The next sentence hilarious and is going to be too much info for some prudish out there but it is a fact) In pubic places the business owners have put a timer on the water spray so women don't stay too long!

Did you mean "public" or did you mean what you actually wrote.

According to an article on USATODAY.com that was posted today, they have been installed in suite and mini-suite cabins on the Diamond.

Ah, I'm glad someone got an answer to which cabins had the upgrade. Up to now it's been a vague point...

Are you talking about the toilet?

No, the carbon filter deodorizer is built into the bidet and it works well. Yes, these take a couple of weeks to get used to, but so did indoor plumbing for my grandpa. Once you have used one of these seats, you will never use tissue again. Washing yourself is so much more hygienic. :)

Returned from Diamond a week ago and sad to say the Stateroom we had contained a std toilet. I am told, however, that all the common FEMALE toilets had been upgraded but the Mens had not. The ONLY fancy one I found that I could actually use was in the Lotus Spa and the Japanese Baths.
