Favorite Ship and Favorite Port.

I saw this thread on RCI forum. I thought it would be interesting to know what Celebrity forum members thought about their favorite - X - ship and port.

My favorite ship is Infinity and my favorite port is Lahaina, Maui. If your favorite Celebrity ship did not visit your favorite Celebrity port that is okay.

What is your favorite Celebrity ship and port?

I have to split my answer in two. My favorite M class ship is the Constellation, and I prefer M class ships overall. Having said that, in my opinion the Equinox is the most beautiful ship I have ever sailed on any cruise line.

I have only sailed the Caribbean, Mexico, and Alaska, so my port choices are more limited. Very, very hard to choose, but I think I would pick either Aruba or Sitka.

Itinerary...definitely the Med...Naples, Sicily, Rhodes, Santorini, Mykonos,

Athens and Ephesus, Turkey:D....#1, by far over all the others........

#2 would be Alaska.

Ship? Whichever one I happen to be cruising on at the moment.;)

This is real close to mine. Eastern Med, really liked Taormina and Ephesus.

The ship has to be Solstice, Equinox or Eclipse. Any Celebrity ship with glassblowing.

Did you go to the area where part of The Godfather was filmed?

Favorite ship was the Mercury, with the Solstice a close second.

Favorite port? I can't decide. Whale watching out of Juneau was magical, but so was scuba diving with sting rays in Grand Cayman. And zip lining in the Costa Rican jungle, and a snorkel trip to St. John from St. Thomas on a sailboat with two wonderful Canadian couples from our Roll Call.

An embarrassment of riches!:)

For me it would have to be Solstice

Best Port...hmmm... The New Zealand Sounds (Milford, Dusky and Doubtful) are tops, but not actually ports, so probably Akaroa ...a little bit of Le French in NZ...nice:)

Millenium, Venice

Good memories sailing into Venice with classical music playing. Sitting with my Dad and taking in the birdseye view from the Cosmos Lounge and then drinking a Bellini on the open deck with Andrea Bocelli's "Time to Say Goodbye" playing. Best cruise port EVER!

As rebbecalouiseagain mentioned...Any cruise that I was on with my parents was my favorite.:) My husband, children and other family members were fortunate to sail many times with my parents before they passed away. ;)

We visited the town and the restaurant in your photos, but how did I miss the big sculpture of the film maker?

Connie...she's a great ship :)

Haven't been to any European ports (yet) but favorite so far has to be St.Thomas.

The Connie is obviously a favorite of mine because I seemed to have found myself on her 3 times in one year. :rolleyes:If we are talking Caribbean ports, St. Thomas will always be a favorite. DH and I spent our honeymoon there almost 35 years ago. I cannot tell you how many times that we have been back there by ship. :D
