Magnifying make-up mirror?

Not sure which ship you're on, but there is one on Riviera in the PH's. I didn't find it all that good, however. It's part of the makeup/desk area, and flips up as I remember. I had to hunch down to use it, not great.

I use a magnifying mirror to put in my contacts, and you'll find one built into the underside of the dressing table on Marina & Riviera (it flips open for use, then closes to provide clear counter space.)

It was fine for me, but if you prefer a great deal of light when using the mirror, it might be better to bring your own.

We heard MANY complaints about the lighting in and around those mirrors.

Yes, that's the one I was talking about. And no, lighting was not great.

I prefer one in bathroom and bought my own for Insignia PH in Oct.

Mine just sticks on mirror,come in various sizes.

Sure would LOVE a lighted,mag,mirror in BR,,,Oceania,,just HINTING.Did put that under comments.;)

If there is no make up mirror that is satisfactory, I have a recommendation. I have a fold up travel one that I think I purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond that goes with me whenever I travel. It magnifies 10x on one side and is normal on the other and is lighted. Would highly recommend; think the brand is Floxite.

Thank you all. Guess I'll find another corner in which to put my mirror. Or maybe pack another suitcase in which case I can bring even more 'stuff'!

I too bring mine that sticks on the mirror with suction and it is a great out of the way place for it..

The lighting for applying makeup is abysmal on all the cruise ships on which I have sailed. However, perhaps that is a good thing! :D

Guess I could posted a link to the floxite products on Amazon for anyone who might have been interested. These are pop up magnifying light up mirrors and they do fold flat for packing.
