Oasis - is this good price?

Recommended Posts

Just got an alert from my agency that the following sail date has dropped:

April 11, 2015 - Oasis Western (inside cabin) $608 taxes/ports included (CDN$)

I have been monitoring prices for April 2015 and this appears to be one of the better ones, but I am a newbie so I really have no idea.

Now, I'm not sure which deck/stateroom this is, but to those who have sailed under the main public areas, can you hear the noise at night?

Is $608 the total for 2 people?

I think that is a great price. Less then $87/day!! For great food, entertainment and service. I would grab it!

for an interior... Not ocean view... Not balcony. I got a ocean view balcony for 250 more per person

Deptacon, It is interior, yes.

We are trying to make this as cheap as possible, we have to fly to FLL from Nova Scotia. Flights are $700/PP!

And we still haven't even bought our drinks packages yet :P

Watch for another Canadian Resident Sale.

We booked in May for our Feb/15 cruise on the Allure.

Which is Peak season and we ended up paying $2725 inclusive for 3 of us in a B1 Boardwalk Balcony stateroom.

It works out to $892 p/p for 1st & 2nd pax.

The lowest price we've seen since the resident rate is $3500.

We scored a great savings.

If you book now just keep an eye out for another Resident sale and then just have the price adjusted if another one pops up.

Good price for the Allure or Oasis. The western itinerary is usually a bit less expensive than the eastern itinerary. There is so much to do on either of those two ships, I doubt you will be in your cabin too much of the time.

I checked the statistics for the past two years in the month of April for Oasis 7 nights Western itinerary (not including Easter dates) and the lowest price I could find for an inside room in (CDN$) was $563 pp before taxes, so IMO, you have a good deal. If you wait to book, prices can go up.

How do you go about checking the statistics for the past 2 years?

Would love to know how to do this.

Thanks

Prices are up quite a bit over what you posted. Hope you booked.

It's now a total of $1636 total including taxes and fees or $818pp.

How much do you need to put down for your deposit? 50%?

During the *WOW* sale, for sailings of 6-9 nights, normal deposit is $250 pp, wow deposit is now $125 pp. Sailings of 10 nights and longer was $450 pp, wow deposit is $225 pp. These reduced deposit would only be for categories JS and below. GS and above, higher deposit.
