Subsitute for embarkation bottle of wine

We will be cruising in a Concierge cabin and we don't drink wine, is there any replacement or do we just pass on the free wine?

Just ask the steward if you could get a bottle of sparkling NA wine.

Ask the steward, if that doesn't work ask guest relations, if that doesn't work ask your sommelier. Sometimes people are told by one person that there can be no substitute but if they ask someone else they can get it, if mother says no ask father

Interesting. Always something new to be learned on Cruise Critic! Do you need to request this in advance or is it done once on board the ship? Hate to bother the poor cabin attendants and butlers with this on turnaround day when they are so harried.

I hate sparkling wine. The bubbles/gas are not for me. On Celebrity, I have asked to change the sparkling bottle for a still bottle. Never a problem. Just ask your waiter or cabin attendant.

Don't ask on turnaround day if you are worried, just wait a day or two

I have heard both.. either request it ahead of time but if it is not accommodated you can just request the switch out

 

or you can give it to me. I would be happy to take it off your hands ;)

We simply took to the MDR at dinner and they exchanged it for something we wanted, well something our friends wanted....sparkling or not, we don't drink it ...lol
