Anyone else notice any skyrocketing prices today?

Just today the price of our March 2016 cruise skyrocketed to $300 more per person (a 63% increase) for an inside cabin. The BOGOHO "sale" is still applied, otherwise the rates would have more than doubled.

 

A bunch of us have cabins booked already, but a few others were thinking about joining us, so it is not good news for them.

 

Did anyone else notice other cruises skyrocket in price today, or is it possible that RCCL had the one we booked "under"priced and just adjusted it?

No you're not alone on this one. Our May Southern Caribbean itinerary balcony price just increased too. Guess it's to be expected. Glad I booked last summer...;)

However, a Serenade cruise in March 2016 that I've been keeping my eye on just went up $500+.

Ya, the change I was referring to was for the 2016 cruise we have booked. Our 2015 cruise is not changing in price.

Better get ready to book those 2017 cruises when they put them out there for sale before they up those rates later as well.

It pays to shop and book early with RCCL.

They cant sell the farther 16 and 17s cheaper than a closer 16 :) hence... The increase

Yes I did notice.The cruise we have booked for Nov went up today by $300 and the one were looking at for next Feb went up by $400. We were getting ready to book the Feb one but we may hold off for a while.

Our cruise for March 2016 has been much higher than what we booked at, ... for months.

Our March 2016 cruise on Allure went up $200 on Jan 20 and another $100 on Feb 7

We just booked our 5 night Feb 2016 cruise today on the Independence and paid about $419 per person (inside stateroom) on Expedia with the BOGO 50% off. I thought that was a great price.

Don't give up on those cruises where the price went up. Many of them will come back down. You just have to keep a very sharp eye on them.

must be that nasty Cabin Fever, :p...all this snow, causing everyone to book a cruise to somewhere warm.....supply and demand, I say;)
